We're off again boys!!!!! Two years in the making. Come on farcanal and chums  The golden rivet is off and flying! Well sort of the new silverback flyer is "goldenrivet1" lets sail fellow sea dogs

Can't believe I'm about to get sucked back into this again
Bit concerned about the candy bars / 'crew fatigue' thing and lack of sail inventory without shelling out, hope the $1000 kitty lasts the whole race or is replenished?!

I will admit to not reading the instructions, but I was disappointed to note that the leaders went the otherway around Mallorca ducked over the gate and returned. It vaguely occurred to me yesterday that it might be quicker but I wasn't sure if it was legal!

Having done a bit of reading, it looks like those chancers will be getting a DNF for not taking the island to starboard

It's finally let me log in, I'm under way. My boat's name is Alexhoc1, I didn't realise you account username was going to be the name of the boat!
I'm not sure what I'm doing, I guess I'll pick it us as it goes!

HMSMolevision has run aground twice so far. The 1st in sight of the start line, the second into an island shaped suspiciously like another boat!
This is not a promising start!

The golden rivet is giving it some beans, 5864 but silverback mike is fannying around at 19000 ish as the old girl hit the headland  Can we form a list of us pistonheaders, to add as friends then when the group option comes active we can be the pistonhead group? just a thought. Bloody addictive. Even my son is in on it!

 I'm not going to do well with this. I can't be bothered staying up overnight for it, can't access it at work, and as a result I don't really want to pay for better sails and things... I lost 18000 places overnight, AlexhocII was beached again, north of the first buoy. I'm now 36000 and 45000. This time yesterday I was 7000th.
