That does sound strange... I found entering the Arentino house for the first time to be very very creepy. I had never had an intention to join the Dark brotherhood, only to destroy it

I didn't either, but the quests are pretty good. I ended up leader of The Companions, Dark Brotherhood, Archmage of The College Of Winterhold, thane of all Whiterun, Winterhold, Riften, Markarth, Dawnstar, Solitude and Windhelm. I've not finished the bard quests.

I left it to last, and found them incredibly tedious. Only persisted because I decided I had to get a PS3 platinum trophy having invested so many hours of my life into it...!

Dear god yes, currently got two quests which can't be completed, one guy wants a book I've had for ages, but can't give him it, the other wants me to go speak to some guy about the hall of the dead, which wouldn't let me, now I've got no chance as I led him to namira's feast, slaughtered, and ate him, ahhh well.

At least on the PC version you can use the console to manually advance a quest. I've had to a couple of times now, and I too have the 'Hall of the Dead' one but haven't got round to sorting it out yet.

CBR JGWRR said: Guess I won't swap over to the PC version then... Um, why? The ability to manually advance stalled quests is a good thing. Also the PC version has much better graphics and a shedload of user-generated add-ons and enhancements. If you are running the XBox360 or PS3 version and you get a stalled quest then you're stuffed. With the PC version you just drop into the debug console and nudge it on a step. Sorted.

FourWheelDrift said: Well, if it's still as much of a problem now as it was earlier in the thread, I mean, most posts were complaining at various bugs and crashes, having to save every 5 minutes just in case it crashed, making it practically unplayable... Also, isn't it linked into steam such thst you can't play offline, which would mean hardly ever being able to play it to start with... While it is definitely better on a pc, with mods and the console and better graphics and so on, if it's still as buggy as an insect museum then I just don't think it's worthwhile...

Yeah, but the xbox version doesn't seem to have any problems to start with, and I know my laptop won't run the good graphics anyway (and I have even less clue how to uprate it so it could...) so a major part of why I would get the pc version is gone... And just having the xbox version has caused me to lose too much of my time to playing it, I'm well over the 100 hour mark already...

Xbox version here too..have NEVER had a stalled quest, never had any issues. PS3 once again is the poor relation (Yes I have both, on the plus side PS3 makes a great BluRay player)
