got the final unrelenting force shout word thing yesterday, even though I had the horn for ages just got sidetracked to other things.

now with the shout, people go flying biggrin started the companions quest an where you come across the werewolf killers in the fort with the 'skinner' [or whatever hes called] i shouted at him assoon as he took the first power swing an he went flying off an smacked into a wall in a crumpled heap lol

i still havnt got dragon armour or weapons. im only lvl 23 and have about 60 in smithing. and still have the ebony, deadra and dragon to unlock.

so how many of you use a walkthough for bits? or do you just slog through and have great puzzle solving games.

cause for me, i would have never have made the 3 amulet peices into one [the one you get the first bit in sarthaal, or something like that]the one that you get for one of the first mages quests.

where you have to open the doors with the 3 symbol's with the same as is on the two different claws, or spinning the symbol pillars to something, i hate those bits as can never figure them out.

Never bothered with Dragon bone or Dragon skin armour, they look terrible for a start. On my first run through without mods I got the Ebony Mail armour on the quest where you receive it as a gift and stayed with that.

You are looking at the claw to get the order for the lock aren't you? Use the inventory view to see it.

yeh i know that now, but didnt know that before looking at the walkthrough. got the bethsoft one from game when i got the game and some ms points, got it for free so not all that bad, and figured i would need the ms points for expansions.

another question.

what is you favourite shout? i have final got the final work in unrelentess force, and thats my fave, cause things just go flying biggrin next on the list is the freesing one, where you shout and the person/thing gets frozen solid in a load of ice and there health goes down continuously.

Get dwarven smithing, raid a few dwemer ruins, get as much scrap metal as possible, forge dwarven bows.

I got from level 75 to 100 in 6 or 7 trips...

What annoys me is that dragon armour isn't the best on paper, Although quite frankly the 567 armour cap can be hit with anything...

I've got my armour and weapons at legendary. After flawless you get epic, and then legendary.

I think.

Yes, the last named level is legendary, anything beyond that is still called legendary, but stats still go up.

fine->superior->exquisite->flawless->epic->legendary...

Under item quality.

aaah that makes sense.

dont suppose there is a amount of ingots you need to inprove any different types of stuff, as the wiki doesnt say, trying to improve some dwarves armour and the blades sword.

It's always one ingot, unless you are improving something you have already improved, in which case it's one ingot for each different time you improve it.

Enchanted items can't be improved without the perk.

IIRC, blades equipment is put under steel smithing.

hmm,one ingot you say, as I have got everything up to flawless, and then bought 17 dwarven ingots and it said i dont have the perk to improve it. even though i have the dwarf perk and the one above on both sides.

this is with flawless dwarven armour and weapons.

Yeah, you need to raise your skill level (the achelmy->enchanting->smithing loop won't really be effective at your current level)

Well, at level 91 it's legendary, at 100 you are able to create dragon armour. You use enchanting and alchemy to get levels beyond 100.

Relax, the potions can be bought and found anyway.

This page has all the ingredients listed and their effects, it's rather useful.

It was much better on Oblivion, you could carry the apparatus yourself and do alchemy on the go.
