You can get cured, there is always a cure. You can also feed on the cattle in the dungeon of Castle Volkhar if you need blood.and don't want to go through the sleep sneak or are at the hatred level

Luckily on the PC we can run a mod that reverses Vampire effects so you are stronger the more you drink blood.

whats so good about vampire perks? i never used the warewolf one, an the having to feed an no health/magic/stamina regen in sunlight is pretty annoying, can i get cured ?
As far as I could tell ther weren't any real benefits to being one...

There's a bloke called falion in Morthal, he can get rid of it.

Best to get rid of it early as well, as if you manage to forget and leave it for ages, you'll go further and further through the stages of vampirism, until the point where people just attack you on sight. That makes getting cured by Falion a right ballache, particularly if you are as bad at sneaking up on sleeping people as I am (drinking blood allows reversal through stages)

yeah hadnt thought of the hatred level untill now, its starting to get pretty bad as im getting new powers and my health and other stats dont regen when im in sunlight now :/

is there anything you need to collect to be able to get cured? and can I still do the vampire quests if I am cured?

in oblivion there were tramps sleeping on bags all around the place, every town had a few and they were out in the field aswell.

but unless you had the vampire lair add on for it, it was a complete ball ache to get cured.

oh, an CBR

if you carry on with oblivion, to get money from the get go, go to the arena and compete, every time you win you get money, and after you have killed all the other team, you fight a number of animals in the arena.

Skyrim PC users, TES5Edit has been released, for fixing mod clashing and unexpected CTDs this is a very useful tool - http://forums.bethsoft.com/topic/1415541-wipz-tes5...st__60__p21646339#entry21646339

The battle for whiterun is such a fun quest...

I've got Odahviing and Durnehvir raining fire from the skies, me using fire breath shout whenever possible, with full dragon armour and dragonbone weapons named after the dragons I've slain...

It's like the dragon war all over again. Only the dragons win.

I could literally do this all day...

It definitely needs to be longer.

Main, civil war and dawnguard quest spoilers... Basically, the battle of whiterun is a really fun quest IMO.

I've found/met/sometimes killed 11 named dragons, Parthy, Odie, Durnie, then the deceased, Alduin, Mirmulnir, Nahagliiv, Sahloknir, Vinturuth, Vuljotnaak, Voslaarum and Naaslaarum.

The bargining to get a better price just got incorporated into the speech skill.

Oblivion and Morrowind in Skyrim. For PC users.

http://morroblivion.com/forums/skywind/skywind-mod...

You need Skyrim and Oblivion installed for Skyblivion and you need Skyblivion installed before installing Skywind (Morrowind)

Best to make a complete backup of Skyrim before doing any of the installing.

Skyblivion - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nlzj6K7G2hc
Skywind - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vru8HIvq_Ek

You can see they are early versions, no people around yet, just the landscaped and buildings, but it's one hell of a start.

My project for the weekend smile

Funily enough, yes they are hiding from you. Durnie is in the soul carin, Naas and Vos are in a lake in the forgotten vale, (the Dawnguard ones) Nahagliiv is near Rorikstead, Alduin, Sahloknir, Mirmulnir, Paarthy and odie are in the main quest, Vinturuth I can't remember, and Vuljotnaak I found between Falkreath and Rorikstead.

I chose defending whiterun, used call dragon shout (odie) as soon the battle started exiting dragonsreach, Then right at the end of the battle used the summon Dernehvir shout.

I also left it until becoming level 81 to do it...

I love quoting myself smile

Well I'm all set to try it all out, just bought Morrowind and slapped the latest V3 overhaul onto it, full HD, SSAO and DOF and everything maxxed out as far as it'll go, plus lush all new textures and features added by the mod, can still unpack the meshes for Skywind though.

Morrowind blinged up.

Depth of field example, focus on foreground character. Easier to see on full screen, double click through.

focus on background

I wonder if it will look that good in Skyrim. smile

There's another named dragon in Blackreach. He's called Vulthuryol and he'll only appear if you use the Unrelenting Force shout at the big hanging orange ball above the square in the middle of the Silent City.

I'm another who got completely sucked into Skyrim. 100% of trophies and probably somewhere around a billion hours of gameplay.

Yep, he's joined the list of the dead ones now.

I'm probably on 500 hours now...

500! You've only had it a couple of months, haven't you?

I am on 250 hours since last Nov (launch date). What an amateur!

Cracking game, though. Has to be the most immersive (and massive) game I've played. (And I've played lots).

Probably 5/6 weeks... eek

I really hope I've overestimated the number of hours played, yeah, must have, can't have done 100 hours a week...

It definitely is the most immersive game I've played.
