And not forgetting the Amidianborn Book of Silence (all 5 parts) complete HD armour, weapons, creatures and unique item re-textures.

http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/24909/?

Detail example, Blades Armour.

I think I'm doing some things wrong. I have loads of texture packs, especially for foliage, like the lush grass etc. but my foliage doesn't look anything like that. I'm running some ENB settings too which add that little extra for me. Running SLI Titans so I want to squeeze every little bit I can from them.

Any tips?

With Lush Grass and Skyrim HD textures:

in skyrim.ini I have

[Grass]
bAllowCreateGrass=1
bAllowLoadGrass=0

in skyrimprefs.ini I have

[DISPLAY]
bShadowsOnGrass=1

and

[Grass]
b30GrassVS=1
fGrassStartFadeDistance=7000.0000
fGrassMaxStartFadeDistance=7000.0000
fGrassMinStartFadeDistance=0.0000

Bear in mind those are settings I used on my older 1GB card before upgrading and haven't changed them since, so perhapd fade distances could be higher. But I don't want to break anything just yet smile

I've been revisiting old games like Skyrim and seeing what's new or what I didn't install before.
If you have not played for a while probably worth looking up what you have your keys set to, rather than standing in the middle of the Rift like I did and testing each key to see what they did.

Fus Ro Dah’d four guards and 1,000 bounty within 5 mins of firing up the game.

Actually did something similar. I re-played New Vegas first with my new card and set the Pipboy inventory to one of the programmable buttons on my gaming mouse which I hadn't used with it before. Then went back to Skyrim (a game which I had played with my gaming mouse and had set buttons) the inventory button for New Vegas was the Shout button for Skyrim. In an Inn, pressed inventory to check.................whoops biggrin

I set my shout to lightning speed after that so I just smashed into doors if I did it wrong again.

Problem is I don't tend to use much magic at all, so forget I have shouts. Just did a few quests with my Ork character, proper tank hand to hand type of guy. At level 50 and wearing full (enchanted/upgraded) Ebony armour there is pretty much nothing on the surface that can really hurt him. Spellbreaker Shield also helps.

Also have Shadomere and Marcurio (wabarjacked to my level) as followers. Had to take out a guardian and thought ooh silver vein, gets out pick axe and start chipping away.

Bzzzzz, bbzzz, crackle, crackle, neigh, neigh. Look round to see guardian is toast.

Same settings as me, what load order do you have? Load the HD packs before the other mods?

Texture packs shouldn't need load sorting as they do not have esm or esp files. They are just texture replacers.

Order in which you install them might be a factor. You know when you allow the new mod to overwrite or not a currently installed mod.

The order I use is this, if one is updated I uninstall back to the new one then reinstall to make it simple and not miss anything. You may not have all of the mods.

Ruins Clutter improved
Better dynamic Snow
Skyrim HD (Lite or Full) all options.
Project Parallax Roads and Bridges
Immersive Roads
WATER
Enhanced Lights & FX
Expanded Towns & Cities + Etac patch
Lush Trees and Grass (both)
TreesHD
Webs Extended
Ewis Rock Textures
Real snow

Each one is always "yes" to overwrite one of the previous if they install files of the same name.

Do you have The Skyrim Flora Overhaul installed as well? I don't because I don't like it but that requires a line in the Skyrim.ini of:

[Grass]
iMaxGrassTypesPerTexure=7

Ps. Which ENB are you using and you have turned AA off in the game launcher settings?
Other ENB tweaks in ENB Local I have are :

[ENGINE]
ForceAnisotropicFiltering=true
MaxAnisotropy=4

[FIX]
FixParallaxBugs=true

Can't think of anything else I have added.

Or, as FourWheelDrift put it earlier this year, at least we still have the London Olympics to look forward to.
