That looks absolutely fantastic, looking forward to having a go with it.

I bought Morrowind impulsively in the Steam sale but haven't tried it yet. Meant to be good though.

If you do install this, it's an all-in-one update - http://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/36945/?

This might be of interest to some, new tree textures for the Reach plus some older mods you might have to combine to get the look.

I've recently started playing this again for some reason, it's great to pick up for half an hour or so and just go clear out a cave or two.

I'm more interested in a sequel, but not expected until 2019/20 frown

A sequel would be preferable I agree. But I'll take what I can get at this point!

yes

Must be time for another play though I reckon! biggrin

I've no idea how many hundreds of hours I've logged on this already, but I've still not seen everything or completed the main storyline.

It also amazes me just how good this can still look with the right collection of mods.

I've certainly had value from the £3.99 it cost me on a Steam Sale! laugh

I only managed to complete the main quest as I made a concentrated effort to do so, otherwise I could have easily spent the time exploring caves, side quests, sniping/stabbing/smashing/scorching/freezing/fosrohdahing bandits in the face etc.

I bought the expansions a few months ago but not touched it since, good job otherwise I'd have lost another couple hundred hours of my life easily I bet... biggrinweeping

What sort of NASA computer specs do I have to have to run that? Looks incredible!

Minimum: I guess any quad core CPU from the last 6 years and any 2GB graphics card could.

I'm still impressed with what you can do with the character creator.

All this talk of mods - is this for PC only?

Is there anything I can do on my old XBox 360?

Yep PC only (AFAIK at least)

Thing is you don't really need a powerhouse to run Skyrim - I was playing it on a cheap 2012 era i5 laptop with integrated (4000HD) graphics. Sure you won't get the same detail as vonuber but definitely playable if you don't go bezerk with the graphics settings and graphics mods (gameplay mods should be ok in most cases).

I can't even remember what unmodded skyrim is like to be honest.

Re-inspired by this thread I spent a few hours yesterday re-installing skyrim and modding it all to hell. It looks totally stunning!

Started a fresh game and forgot how much more careful you need to be in lower levels, especially with denser foliage hiding many red NPCs until they're much closer. My stealthy-bow build will need to become more stealthy and quick!

Such a great game biggrin
