Having just got this again for PS4 (had on PS3 previously) i'm finding the game play very difficult at times as i just can't see where i'm going!
The graphics in daylight are great but in caves and night its unplayable.
I've attempted altering the TV settings to make it better which has helped but surely the game itself should be set to give maximum effect/play-ability?
Since its been a while and leveling up is taking forever, are there any tips to get back into this and up to some kind of level where everything is enjoyable and exploring is fun rather than a risky challenge?
As far as darkness is concerned I've found them a tad darker too, just get hold of some torches it makes life a lot easier. I spent a fortune on iron ingots to up my blacksmith ability I'd say it's the easiest to gain levels on plus you can make and repair some useful items. There comes a point where you are not so weak I have it on the easiest setting for quite a while. The graphics in daylight are great but in caves and night its unplayable.

Ive given my follower a torch and shes not too bad at lighting up the way but not ideal.
Well, Ive just bought this on the PS4. I had it for the PS3 but never opened it. It's still in the wrapper. Lol.
As soon as I can drag myself away from fallout 4 (it's been in the PS4 since it was released) it will join the queue behind bloodboure, Star Wars battlefront, project cars, FIFA, Rory mcilroy, alien isolation, dying light etc etc which haven't been touched yet!!

Did I mention you can build houses? Adopt kids? (who even bring home stray animals!) Have weapon racks? (though I know fallout 4 has an awful lot of building too!)
And of course build your own weapons and armour and use magic on them and even make potions.
Stop it! Right now! And of course build your own weapons and armour and use magic on them and even make potions.
Just got this for the PS4 (had it on PS3 but never really got into it) and noticed you can install mods. Are there any in particular that are recommended?
Also, I've got the version with the DLC included (they are on the main menu). Are these stand alone games or are they in the main game?

The DLC are all included in the main game. For example before when you completed tasks and just became a Thane in some places (Falkreath for example) you were Thane. Whereas now if you do that you will be able to purchase a plot of land and build your own mansion.... Then stock it ......

They become active and available in the game after you have reached certain levels.Dawnguard - Level 10
Dragonborn - Level 20
Hearthfire (house building):
Windstad Manor - Suggested level 6 to complete the needed quest.
Lakeview house - Level 9 to receive the letter from the Jarl
Heljarchen Hall - Level 22 before you get the option to buy even if you have done the pre-requisite quests.
Just noticed a 'Special Edition' of Skyrim is now in my Steam library - downloaded and giving it a go (just done the intro looks rather good already!)
Noticed it has of bit of built in support for mods/addons - and clicking on mods prompts me for a Bethesda account details...
Question is, would this the the default way to get/install/manage mods or is everyone still using Nexus Mod Manager?

If you want control, compatibility and the ability to correctly sort your mods don't touch Bethesda.net use Nexus Mod Manager. It might be still shonky as hell but the old developer has been given the boot and the guy who was creating Mod organiser has taken over.
Nexus has 99.99999999999% or available mods
Bethesda has maybe 50%, or 25% if you count only legally ported mods and not those stolen from the Nexus and uploaded by someone else.
There are many mods on Nexus for which the author strictly forbid being uploaded onto Bethesda's network.

SkyUI version 2.2 works without SKSE, there was a post earlier on this thread to a link to it that removes the SKSE warning as well.

Cheers, trying it now, even with the warning it's still a million times better than the stock UI Here it is - https://www.dropbox.com/s/i2padsoub9al3u6/SkyUI%20...
