I love Fallout and spent many an hour playing 3 and NV, but Oblivion etc never really appealed to me for some reason.

Think I may stick this on my Lovefilm and give it a go.

seemingly the quests never end so you can play it forever the almost 200 hours i spent on oblivion were all enjoyed so looking forward to this but have to wait till xmas as its a present

Yep, I'm afraid so. Not sure if there is a way of changing Steam settings to trick it into thinking I'm in another time zone but I was pretty gutted.

I might pull the network cable out before I install, does it say it needs an internet connection to play?

As an aside, why have you all preordered games from Amazon? you know places like Game and Gameplay always deliver on the Thursday for pre-ordered games.

Batman, BF3 and now Skyrim all arrived a day before release from Amazon

Mines arrived via Amazon and the pre-order freebee map is rather nice. No 3D option but who cares firing up the PS3 as I post this, it's going to be a long night!

Just got word telling me mine has arrived from game. Due to haveing a family dinner out tonight i wont be able to play it long, so instead of getting too into it and playing till 6am ill stick with MW3 till i finish work tomorrow then hello no sleep

The Steam release time is 9.01pm tonight apparently. I'm interested to try this to see how the next Fallout engine is looking, but I fear I'll get sucked into it and become addicted!

I relented and bought it for the 360 because the wife cant play PC games but loves oblivion and fallout for the 360. But it means I can play it now and you cant nerr nerr lol.
