Quick question, what are you guys' opinions on quickscoping? Personally I think it's a load of s
t, totally unrealistic and shouldn't be in the game. I appreciate it takes a bit of skill with the controller to do it right, and the only time I've ever managed it was by accident (have attempted it on purpose once and gave up). Not that I'm raging just because I can't do it, it's just bullst. If I did that at uni rifle club competitions I would constantly score 0, on the battlefield in the real world it would probably have a 0.00000000001% chance of working. IRC Treyarch tried to take it out of BOps, hope they do the same for the new one.
ETA: Mind you, I've never heard definition 4 on the urban dictionary page being called 'quick scoping'

ETA2: Playing some TDM before bed, I'm sick of getting friend requests from 12 year olds with the message 'plz lt me b in ur clan i is wikid init'. 3 people in one game, and they were all on the opposite team, who we beat comfortably every time.

So calling someone a quickscoping camping turd, really could be quite offensive (based on definition #4 
. I don't dislike quickscoping as much I do noob tubers, but it's still quite annoying being picked off by a shot that really didn't seem to be on target (hit boxes being as daft as they are, shooting someone in their knees registers as a headshot somehow?!).
I like using the snipers quite a bit, but I cant quickscope and have just about got the hang of strafing a moving enemy. If they could make 2 fixes for BLOPS 2 IMO it would be to get rid of quickscoping, or at least make it necessary to be on target to register hits, and to stop RPG's and the like in HC mode.
Lag seems to have improved in the last few days, but it's only highlighted how utterly incompetent I am on CoD lol.

I'll probably be asleep but i have enlisted us. Even a few core captures in domination will give us bronze and level us up as we are only 57xp from level 27.
Quickscoping is ok if people are st at it as it gives you time to nail them but good people can be annoying but I'm yet to see anyone good on quickscoping compared to mw2 on mw3 apart from the man the myth the legend fellow pazzini.
In black ops 2 they have apparently taken out the aim assist on snipers so you can only qs if youre really good at it and don't depend on the aim assist like so many do.

I used to have exactly the same opinion mate until I went round a few of my mates houses who are pretty mean at it...I was watching them 1st person as it happens and when you start getting good at it and bringing in high killstreaks you do get more of a satisfaction than any other gun IMO.... t, totally unrealistic and shouldn't be in the game. One of the best bits of advice I got was to turn your sensitivity up more than you usually would, then get yourself in a private lobby and practice against some other sniping noobs.
I'm not that overly fussed by them as I've never been in a lobby where the top player has been sniping and also finished with a decent k/d. It's mostly down to the satisfaction of knowing your enemy didn't have much of a chance and one shot one kill = more xp! Lol
Tbh there are a lot of unrealistic things going on in MW3 but I have heard rumour that blops2 will not have auto aim for snipers.....but as its set in the future I wonder how many other unrealistic things can be added to compensate for it! Lol

couldnt agree more, i hate it and think its unrealistic, i am predominantly a hardscope sniper and even that can get cocked up by hitmarkers, all aim assist should be gotten rid of, if your not good enough to get your aim right, then it shouldnt count as a kill.t, totally unrealistic and shouldn't be in the game. (i am now waiting for pazz to wade in and throw a tirade of abuse at me
