Anyone figured out how to join as a squad yet? Tried a party of 4, 2 ended up in a squad together and 2 of us in random ones. No way to pick a squad as far as I can see and also no voice coms with your squad if you don't set it up in BL. This is very flawed indeed. Hopefully they will fix it. Actual gameplay is great though!

And here, so far I haven't had any problems with origin, it downloaded BF3 @ 1MB/s, where as steam was 160KB/s for Deux Ex yesterday. Everyone moaned like crazy when steam first came out, as soon as the wrinkles are ironed out it will be the same.

This is all well and good but then steam had to be made better as a lot of companies use it as a market place. EA isnt exactly the best company in the world when it comes to fixing bugs and issues.

Well reinstalled Origin and it that works but the stupid thing wants to redownload BF3 even though the game is fully installed! I seriously hope that Valve offer Dice a nice sum of money and temp them away from the crap that is EA

Are you sure it's not just trying to install the patch? How big is the download? Had no problems with Origin or the game on Win7 64bit. If the game is crashing make sure you've got the latest drivers for everthing. nVidia brought out a WHQL certified driver for BF3 a few days ago, I guess ATI have done the same.

Quick update, if you are having issues with the key binding errors, download and install Autokey

http://www.autohotkey.com

It allows you to remap keys to others

here is my script:

q::y
e::u
f::h
tab::b

I can now use the Q, E, F and Tab keys for whatever I want.

If you normally use the y, u, h or b keys then just replace these with a spare key.
