I'm mad. Played a 1000 ticket Squad Deathmatch game yesterday, did some impressive killing, loads of tags, and unlocked a few things, to have punkbuster kick me out as the final end-build up music was playing saying something about some silly MD5 Tag mismatch. No, I wasn't cheating, I swear it. I nearly threw my computer out the window.

Finally got around to unlocking the L85A3 last night.
Man that was a painful assignment! Winning those rounds of SQDM was a real chore....though...there were a couple really tense, close, fun rounds.
Now just need to put some time in with it to see if it was worth the hassle. Early impressions suggest it was.

The amusing thing was all these big scoring players were on where you'd run into them, and it was as if you'd died before you died IYSWIM and I was thinking they must be using some kind of hack. Then PB boots me.

Only because you are reliant on getting in a good squad. If you're up against a good squad then find another server until you drop into a good squad. There's no hiding place in a squad of 4 lol

Even just one weak squad member will put you at a severe disadvantage when up against a decent squad. I'm not a big fan of SQDM. I found it quite painful at times.....but as I said previously, there were a few rounds that were epic!

TDM/SQDM are great for unlocking attachments. Think of Conquest Domination without the Conquest bit lol. I do them just for a change of pace.

Squirrelofwoe said: I've played a bit of TDM for that very reason- just not tried SQDM yet! not having AK or Premium I only have the SQDM to go and all assignments are done but like others I hate it. not because of the style of game but, as foobes said, the squad you are in decides if you win not your personal skill. when I was trying to unlock all ribbons (which I achieved just before ea put up the new ones , thanks) I played around 25 games before I got that all elusive win. While Fooobes Idea of "shopping around for a good squad" is a good idea there are so few people playing SQDM that it isn't always a possibility. Alas the L85A2 is going to be the only assault rifle I don't have a service star for for a long while yet.

I need 4 SQDM wins and to dust off my shotty and get my DAO 12 up to 1500 kills. I think Fadingfool needs some wins too.
