Yeah I'm having server issues aswell. Even servers with low ping on battlelog seem to be lagging a bit in game, probably just due to the demand.

Seems pretty good, although I'm getting my arse handed to me biggrin

£30.99 at Amazon, should include the DLC, plus you don't pay until it's released. What are you waiting for?

Forgive me if I'm mistaken but I don't think that includes the DLC smile You need Battlefield 4 Premium service for that. Its an extra £35 on top of the 30 quid to pay for BF4.

You can get BF4 and the first DLC for £35 though:

No, that's not what EA says at all:

I guess we'll have to wait and see but by the looks of it, its no additional cost for China Rising if you pre-order through Origin, but then you have to pay £45 for the game and 1 'free' DLC. If you order from amazon the game is a lot cheaper but don't be surprised if you don't get the DLC included. When I pre-ordered BF3 from origin, I got the 'Back to Karkand' expansion and physical warfare pack included but my mates who bought the game from retail stores didn't get any DLC at all. If I'm wrong about this I'll happily eat my own words smile Cheers!

I don't know why you insist on banging this drum, you don't get China Rising if you only order through Origin at all, here's the disc version, from Amazon:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Electronic-Arts-Battlefiel...

Battlefield 4
(with Official Prima eGuide and China Rising Multiplayer Expansion Pack)

As for BF3, everyone who pre-ordered it got Karkand, if you didn't pre-order, you didn't. Simple.

Probably something to do with the fact that your original amazon link makes no mention of any kind of DLC on the page at all whereas the link you just posted does. I just don't want anyone to part with their hard earned cash thinking they might get some DLC, when they might not.

Edit: By the looks of things, all pre-orders will come with China Rising. Apologies Oakey.

I find it a bit out of order that if you pre-purchase the game you get china rising, however to get the other future DLC you have to buy the premium bundle which includes china rising again. So you end up paying for the same DLC twice!

What's the general consensus on this then?

I've found to be very stable - no CTDs or random disconnects as yet which is good for a beta
Graphics are a very rough but various tweets / reports suggest not everything is hooked up yet re. the various gfx settings and that it's a fairly early build.
The interaction with the scenery is interesting - the lifts are fun
The weapon load out screen is confusing, but maybe that's me being an old git wink It's not helped by the slightly out of focus / 'floaty' effect on that particular screen which is especially st.

Overall though, and for a very rough around the edges beta, it's bloody good. More of the same but with a few tweaks here n there which will do for me, sucker that I am for the BF games.

Just out of interest is anyone running it on a 7970? I'm very tempted to upgrade as my 7850 is struggling to hit mid 40fps and their price is looking pretty good at the moment.

EA have been very clear from the start that all pre-orders come with China Rising, it's been that way for a few months now. Why Amazon are able to sell the game cheaper than Origin I don't know but it was the same with Sim City and other EA releases.

With regards the Premium stuff, it's the exact same stunt they pulled with throwing in Karkand with BF3 pre-orders and then making you buy it again with Premium.

EA don't have a reputation as the worst publisher for nothing you know!
