It's f  king mint. BF2 = amazing BC2 = pish (Nam' was ok) BF3 = amazing I have no further useful information to give. I'm going to loosing many evenings to this. PC Specs Q6600@3.4 / 8GB RAM / MSI 560Ti 2GB Twin Freezer / Crucial M4 SSD - handles it great on high with 2AA at 1080p.

I will be on when my copy arrives later in the week hopefully. Can't log into battlelog to add myself to the pistonheads platoon yet. Will do it on Friday.

I'm confused.
In battlelog can you not just invite the online members your platoon to play?
Or just see who is online easily...
Or chat to platoon members...
Are we just expected to add every member of the platoon to our origin friends list manually?
Hopefully i'm missing a trick here!

I havent added any friends yet but will do so this evening and see if there is an easy way of doing it
Do we have voip for BF3 yet? Teamspeak or something would be good.

Hopefully i'm missing a trick here! Look at the member list, Grey border = Offline, Green border = Online, Blue Border = In Game.

I guess I won't be able to access battlelog and join the platoon till my copy of bf3 arrives . If I try to login to battlelog just now I get a message telling me I'm not allowed.

Ill join up when my copy arrives! my GTX580 arrived today so ill get that installed tonight and give BC2 a test  Edit: How its playing on your systems? What specs have you got?

I have an i7 920 at 4ghz, 5870 and 6gb DDR3 running at 1920x1080. I have everything set to high with AA off and low. Runs 60-80fps and looks fantastic. I can max everything out and it runs at 35-45fps which is fine but I prefer it to be silky smooth for multiplayer

Game runs ad looks great I'll be online tonight with any luck if anyone wants to get a squad going.

Those with access, can you confirm if you can only use your Origin name or can you still create multiple soldiers ala BC2?

I seem to have 3 or 4 names (soldier names) on Origin/EA, but only 1 master. Wonder if I can pick one of the sub ones. Hopefully gamer tag will be Fubes, if not it's Foobes
