Not feeling this game at all, I think I might pass on it.
Really??? I thought it would be right up your street...I'm looking forward to iy
The game looks really good so far and I probably will like it as I loved TDU although I still get disappointed that TDU2 wasn't the game I wanted it to be. One thing I'm not sure about is all that messing around before races with people taking pictures, journos etc, reminds me too much of the stty NFS games.
The other thing is the cost, the exclusive pack will be around £60.00 and then the season pass roughly another £30.00. Is that too much for a game do you think, will it feel like £90s worth?
Oh and I hope my Fanatec PWTS still works properly with the game

Hmmm this music festival component seems far too tacked on. Driving on open roads will be great but how will that blend into glow sticks in a tent? If this has any 'get out of the car walk around rubbish' it'll go nowhere fast.
i highly doubt you will be able to get out and walk around, if you can its the biggest secret they have kept so far. dmulally said:
I remember the Hillman Imp was penned in for GT5.
Lies. All lies.
Would have been worth buying a PS3 just for that alone!Lies. All lies.
Incidentally, I remember emailing you years ago asking for advice on how to put an R1 engine or Subaru P1 engine into the back of an Imp. A friend ended up taking it off my hands and we got a Chimaera instead.
Thanks for the advice anyway!

Played a demo level at Eurogamer Expo on the weekend and really liked it. The style was similar to Need for Speed, the car felt more like forza 3 than 4 and you score points for drifting like Project Gotham and for near-misses and mild destruction (fences, road-signs etc).
Well thats ruined it, was about to order it this week. May hold off now.sidaorb said:

Test Drive Unlimited, but with better graphics.
Now everyone's coming out saying WAAAAAAA WAAAAAAAAA I don't like this sort of game!

Personally I'd be delighted if it handled like Forza 3, I could never tell much difference between 3 or 4 with all the driver aids turned off. My major concern is that the handling has been over-simplified - the open world concept is a winner (festival excepted).Gassing Station | Video Games | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
