Just watched the launch trailer and the game has gone up in my estimations...

If people are slating this, not based on actual gameplay, after the Forza 4 reveal trailer then there is no hope tongue out

Last paragraph here about the demo - http://forzamotorsport.net/en-us/forza_horizon_lau...

"Players who download and play the “Forza Horizon” demo and then purchase and play the full game online will receive a specially designed 2013 SRT Viper GTS, celebrating Forza Horizon’s “gone-gold” status. This rare liveried car will only be available to those who download the demo and purchase and play the game online. The “Forza Horizon” Xbox LIVE demo requires an Xbox LIVE account. To receive your free Viper you will need Gold member exclusive access."

Is there going to be a download version of the full game when it's released, or are they talking about downloading the demo and then buying and playing the game on disc?

On disc. A few games have done similar things. I quite like it when they do things like that smile

Three today by the looks of it. And I think this one may just have sold the game to me.

What F, E and D class cars are in Horizon?

Guessing the above 500 is F class. The current 500 is E class.

The 500 was on the previous page, but it really is one of my favourite cars they've revealed. I'm glad they don't just put in all the typical sports cars/supercars.

Here's a thought though - the 500 is so small that it means there's no technical barrier to a proper Mini. I wonder...

It seems that way, another thing is that they appear to have convertibles with the hoods actually down I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that this wasn't possible in FM4 due to technical limitations so maybe this means we can get cars like the Ariel Atom and Caterhams

The reason they were out is that suspension arms weren't visually modelled - fine if your car has them covered, not so good if they're exposed.

Cars like the old Corvettes have their roof down in FM4, why it can't do Caterhams and Ariels is open suspension parts. There's no animation for suspension in the game engine, so the wheels would be floating, or if they did show the suspension parts, they wouldn't move.

Plenty of convertibles with the top down, but no caterhams etc for the reasons above.
Shame, especially as the new NFS has them

Those cars had the roof down constantly. I think the above poster is meaning the option of roof up or down.
