You lot are a right bunch of moaners...
They sure are, we all knew from the start what this game would be like/about...it's not even out yet and nobbers are moaning.Yet I'll bet you a soapy tenner all the moaning nobbers WILL be buying it and playing it within a month of it hitting the shelves.
It's going to be brilliant

YMMV etc., but when I went in to pick up my pre-order for the regular version of FM4 at GAME last year, they asked if I wanted to upgrade it to the LCE version (this was my first car game, so to my regret I turned it down).
That said, this year I took no risk and pre-ordered the LCE version online
Stupid question but what does YMMV mean? That said, this year I took no risk and pre-ordered the LCE version online

Forza is the only game I play on my xbox and I liked TDU, so looking forward to this. Even if the game isn't perfect it's not exactly a lot of money, quite considerably cheaper than a night out...Yet I'll bet you a soapy tenner all the moaning nobbers WILL be buying it and playing it within a month of it hitting the shelves.

I'll probably not buy it if damage is only cosmetic as suggested, that's pretty much my only reason not to buy it.
The trouble these games have is what happens if you damage your car on the open road. How do they make a realistic way of getting back to the pits/garage?
I always remember GT saying you couldn't roll your car as they couldn't think of a way to get you right way up.

Never really got the gripes about lack of realistic damage, if your car is knackered, you retire and watch the rest finish the race..
That would bore me to death. Crash the car in a spectacular display, before calling the RAC/AA a few times over the next four hours to find out where they are? Perhaps it makes sense in a GTA style games where you can get out a steal another car?On the subject of excellent crashes, Beam NG is worth a look. http://www.beamng.com

Is this going to be worth buying an xbox for. One of the things I hate about gt5 is there is no soul in most the engine noises.
If it sounds anything like forza 4 then yes.I agree about the sound on GT5, it is the only thing that lets the game down imho
