Looks like a new chapter in the Forza games. Here's a teaser trailer from them: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PC2A03ifIksLooks like, from the trailer, they're going to be changing it to more street racing and such. ETA: Not sure if there's another thread about it, done a quick search and ain't found anything!

So this is what Playground Games are working on. Could be legit, as they say they are working on a racing game. But there's no information been released on it, not even a name or anything on their website. I wonder if it's anything to do with 'the forza', or if they've just used that name, I'd be surprised if Turn 10 would appreciate that if it was true. After watching another one, looks like Turn10 are publishing and Playground Games must be developing it. http://www.mcvuk.com/news/read/confirmed-forza-horizon-hits-retail-this-year/092229Can't believe it's going to be much different to Forza 4, Playground have only just finished hiring, so can't have been working on it for much more than a year. Probably be Forza 4 engine, with a different world.

Looks great, it would be brilliant if it was say a route across America but it was one huge track.
By that I basically mean, there is events in different locations along the way, however the user either has the option to drive there (300-400 miles in one slog) or they have the option to skip to that location. When driving to a location it would act like TDU being MMO, so you could challenge people from all over the world (say 30+ cars on the route map at any one time) and there is the option to complete career races online. I think something like that would work, people who want to just do races can skip and people who want to drive can go for it, also give a number of different routes, so you can take the highway if you want to be quick (all the roads would have traffic) or if you want to explore there are plenty of routes which will take you far out of the way but to the same place, these routes would include side missions, e.g. getting away from the police. And just to cap it off being the cannonball run there must be police.

God knows what this is about, saw the trailer on their Facebook page, looks more like a music festival with a few fast cars scattered about the place..

If they keep making Forza Motorsport the racing game as good as it is at the moment, AND make this to take up the gap that Need for Speed had to themselves but have messed up with terrible games recently. This can only be a good thing!

Interesting; I had no idea anything like this was in the pipeline. Even if it used the FM4 engine, is it really going to be ready for Autumn this year?!

Forza engine, Forza cars, so that just leaves gameplay mechanics (which don't take long in man hours compared to the rest of it) and designing a world in which it takes place. http://forums.forzamotorsport.net/forums/thread/46...This suggests that it's been in development for twelve months at least, with another six to go. That's as much time as Turn 10 put into Forza 4, so it's definitely possible.
