I've been driving at Motegi oval in the Dallara, best so far is a 28.6 but T2 is difficult to get right. I tried the Caddy at Laguna but I found it has real problems stopping in a straight line. The default set has toe out on the front, even removing that it still dives left and right under hard braking. ETA. According to the forum, it appears to be a setup issue.

As you say nailing T2 is pretty tricky, tried taking some rear wing off the fixed setup but have never really played with the Dallara so not sure how the other settings affect it!

I tweaked the default set by adding 1/32in toe out at the front and added one or two clicks of wicker on the front wing. It can be a bit unstable on exit from T2, especially if you pass someone on the inside on a tight line. I think anything under a 28.7 is going to need a tow. I found reducing rear wing caused enough slip angle to actually slow the car down in the bends, an interesting effect.

Its fun and then all of a sudden the back end comes around for seemingly no reason at all. Its a bit of a beast for the Rookies to play with!

I'm a rookie and was struggling like buggery with the standard set, but fortunately I was in a lobby where a guy had shared a setup and it made it much friendlier to drive, shaved a second off my time around Lime Rock!

Its turn 2 (I think) at Lime Rock that catches me out every other lap! Dap of brakes, turn in, find the apex...then just as im about get back on the power the back end come flying round! I think I need to play with the diff a bit.

If iRacing what shall we do, meet up on a practice server or set up a private lobby?
