I am the biggest carmageddon fan. Grew up on the game and one of the many reasons I'm a car nut today.

D'oh, sorted now.

I had the mute switch on the roatate lock setting and it was stuck in mute, despite turning the volume up working for other apps!

Have you completed all three plus the splat pack then set up a three computers to play against mates in the house.
Carmageddon is nothing short of epic. It's up there with orange box and severance. Although it quite possibly pips both. Can't wait for the new one!

Fantastic loving Carma 1 on the iPad. So much fun and takes me back.

Does anyone else have any issues with saved games. When I close the app mine is not saving my progress. :-/

Amazing, thankyou for bringing this classic back! I remember playing it round a friend's house when I was younger, however I was never allowed it as my mum thought it was 'too violent', but the original GTA on PS1 was ok. Just downloading it now to the iPhone, just one question; I have the original iPad, will it be OK on it despite the hardware being outdated? (some of Apple's own stuff is running a bit dodgy these days, bloody iOS 5.1.1 upgrade)

Yep. Happened to me twice. Not bothering with it anymore until its fixed.

Batwick can I say a massive Thankyou ! I'v used 300% of battery life in two days ! I'm currently trying to get a copy of the original for the pc! Can you advise me the best way to buy it so you get some money from the purchase? Amazon?

It was recently released on gog.com. I'd say that's your best bet.

If thesave game vanishes, exit the app completly, close it down fully then restart.

Saved game magically reappears.

Sometimes takes a couple of goes but I've had it happen a few times & have got the game back everytime.
