Help bring Carmageddon back
Discussion
By the way, anybody want to buy my 600bhp Range Rover, as featured on the Kickstarter campaign and in front of the Eurogamer show, adorned with spikes and blades?

Changing it for an even madder AMG ML63. Turning up in about a month. Already arranged to be tuned by DMS to about 620bhp and 700lb.ft of torque! And it weighs quite a bit less...

FAO BATWICK : BUG REPORT FOR IPHONE VERSION
If you have an alarm set on the phone, which goes off while playing you cancel by hitting "OK". After this the game has no sound for the rest of that race, and the hangs on a black screen once race complete.
Can anyone else confirm this is an issue for them? (I'm using iPhone 5)
Cheers
Have you passed this through our support channels on Carmageddon.com? I don't recall this being a known issue, but it's far from impossible. I've got no friends, so nobody ever phones me whilst I'm playing it....If you have an alarm set on the phone, which goes off while playing you cancel by hitting "OK". Only just seen this....
Used to love this game, although wasn't keen on TDR2000. The first 2 iirc were the best.
Anyway will it make it to the xbox 360, maybe via Arcade? There is actually a sort of similar game called Blood Drive, but it's not very good at all.
Best of luck with this...

Carma 2 wasn't a DOS game. Give this a bash. http://www.carmageddon.com/forum/topic/383james_tigerwoods said:
I'm trying to, legitimately, complete Carmageddon without using cheats but I keep having my arse handed to me by the police.... Any tips or do I just need to find a granite power up (at which the police run a mile anyway)?
On the iOS version I've done all the maps by Wasting All Opponents, and I've also done them all by Doing All The Laps. I'm currently working my way through Killing All The Pedestrians. Done about half of the ped ones.If you're looking for an easy way to get through, then I'd say do the races. If you're getting nailed all the time then use the recovery feature to get yourself into some space, even if you have to use it a couple of times back to back. Once you've done all the races then you unlock "Cheat" mode for the Armour/Damage/Power which makes wasting any opponent very very easy. I actually had to take cheat mode off to do the kill peds challenges, else opponents kept wasting themselves by hitting me!
I didn't do the races first myself (despite it probably being the easiest way). Instead I did as much as I could using the Eagle, and then when the opportunity came up I bought Don Dumpster. This made wasting the other opponents easy and I finished all the Waste Opponents challenges. I then went back and did the races, but again had to take Cheat mode off else opponents wasted themselves on me before I could finish the laps.
If you want to do the Kill all Peds races then "Peds on Map" is essential. Do a google and there's some guides/maps to where this power up can be found. But even with it on it can be very hard to spot the last couple of peds. Use the electric car for this challenge, obviously, as it has the ability to electrocute peds at a distance. I found the Snow map really hard to find the last couple of peds, as they were yellow on the white background. They can also be hidden by the opponent markers, and checkpoint markers etc on the map. Good luck!

Keep upgrading your parts, change into larger vehicles once you unlock them, try and remember where the police sit to avoid them, liberal use of the recovery button if cornered or just drive better It is possible - what difficulty setting are you on?
