What time are you thinking of being on? Do you have a TS3 server you could forward onto me or maybe steam? My mic is currently broken so text chat might be better. I'm currently holed up at the top of Cherno with the apartment blocks. Plan on hitting the hospital on my way out but its noisy as hell going through that glass alone. Man I wish I didn't look in this thread. I am now seriously considering a gaming PC, absolute newbie when it comes to them but, anyone got any pointers as to what I should be looking for?
If I was looking for a new rig I'd probably take a copy of something like Arma 2 to an independent PC shop (loads around) and say; "build be a rig that can crunch this on highest settings without breaking a sweat".You should then have a machine that can cope with Arma 3 when it comes out...
Just a quick update, had a few good runs but mostly died.
The big cities are death traps, players murdering all over the place. I've manged to raid a grocery store and scored a pile of supplies and a tent. When I'm back online I'm going to sort out a hidden base somewhere and hunt for a little town to stock up before heading north in search of a better weapon setup.

This is a cool vid, the squad of players are a bit full on with the Chris Ryan stuff but it looks fun.
