Had some games on the new maps last night. Very COD in terms of pace, will be interesting to see how they settle down. The graphics on one of the maps were stunning, just didn't have time to properly appreciate them with all of the mayhem. Only 16 players per map so not sure what happens when you are in a sequence with the main maps and you have more players.

ks, soft bds if they get upset!For me, and considering some of the games I've personally seen (usually either getting mullered by them, or following them around like a lost puppy..)
In no order:
The Hanging Judge (although got ya lovely the other night with a headshot at range with a carbine, not that I leaped up and down like a kid straight after!) - animal is the correct verb to use for his playing style.
youngsyr - when he's on the deck and not pissing about in jets
Pexy - strategy, map knowledge and shooting
eybic - engineering skills
Always learn lots when playing with these guys.
However, considering my ability and for a fun game without just flattening the opposition:

ts and giggleseybic - had some awesome partnering games of engy and support/assault
Dr P (ashcashforme) - we've spent far too much time together over the years, I always seem to flow when he's around
Saying that, I do love playing with anyone PH, and really miss my headset - it's always nicer having names you relate to and want to work with in your squad, and the fear of losing tags to another PHer keeps me awake at night (pipe down those who've already got them!).

It got much better once the server filled up and it wasn't us vs Pexy, fez and sa20...Colour blind assist seems to make things worse for me, which is odd. I laid a tugs and could hear it beeping but couldn't see anything on the minimap. Then sa20 appeared and killed me...
Think I may go back to normal. I may not be able to tell the difference between the teams, but at least I can see icons to shoot at. Currently I can spot something using select but not be able to see what I've spotted.
That's my bloody excuse anyway.
I think jihad jeeps may need to be banned.

I keep getting invites from LemmingJames for hardcore games (I'm not in any rush to start repeatedly killing my own side by accident), so I only tend to join once I've finished the game I'm in, but if you're trying to get the PH server going, put "PH server" in the invite title and I'll drop my game to join.
Not sure how to get the server filling up better, sometimes it seems like you wait ages, then all of a sudden it fills up.
Maybe a change in the map order so that the most popular map (metro?) is first would help?

Yep, missus is out, so free pass...Just bought close quarters, bit of a waste seeing as I'll be buying premium in a couple of weeks, but couldn't wait. Gun master is pretty bloody tough but it would be good if we could organise a PH session.

Unfortunately, the way the servers are managed means that the PH server only gets going if people actively select it, which normally means weekends. I'd add it to your favourites list and look out for it having players on it.
The other thing I'd do is ping everyone a friend request, with PH BF3 in the message so they know why!
Once people are added to your friends list, if you hit select on the menu screen it'll show you who's on, and what games they're playing. You can then choose to join them...
I'd suggest that to begin with, join a squad with a decent player, as either assault or support. That way following them around will help you learn the map, and you can earn loads of points throwing med kits/ammo or reviving them. The kills will come...
I'm still waiting for the kills to come, and I've been playing since release. I often score well though just by playing the objective, and supporting my teammates.

The judge and I tried to get our server going, but none of you joined - regardless, I'm wondering what we've got to do to keep it going? There's plenty of servers running 24/7 and I can't believe they always have admins on...
The new clanmatch option looks interesting, obviously we'd have no chance against the level 100 clans, but I wonder how we could arrange a fairly even matchup?
Really want to be playing more, but with weddings, birthdays, work, the missus and the kids, I just haven't had the chance... Got a 'down week' next week though, so will be on quite a bit when I probably should be preparing for a mahoosively important interview next Wednesday!

Highest total score wins, if it doesn't work we try the next one down until we hit the formula that doesn't require 2-3 of us to hang around on an empty server until Dice decides to fill it with quickmatchers.

'Rush only' seems to bring the punters in, since I set up the 'Girls! Girls! Girls! Caspian Rush Only' server its never been empty. Key to getting some more interest in the PH server is to make it more appealing to non PH'ers and for that you need a hook, maybe rush only on a couple of well liked maps for a while and see if that improves the usage

Cheers Judge, that's cheered me right up. Just finished a four month project and suffering from an exceptional hangover from last night! Got a 'down week' next week so can get some practice in and get a bluetooth headset.
Have the small matter of a second interview next weds though, only a case of presenting to a Divisional Director and his board - bricking it!
Armoured kill trailer looks awesome, think they're gonna have to prevent jihad vehicles otherwise it'll become silly/frustrating. The spectre looks like a whole lot of fun...
