ttish, but is there anywhere we could discuss tactics etc. without the other clan being able to easily find it?
Seeing as it's looking like there's a lot of interest, I'd suggest that any matches on our server have priority for the guys that chipped in?

Well up for this, although I'm not sure what shift I'm on Thursday so can't confirm. Will know 2mo. Don't mind missing out for people who chipped in, even less so if we're going to carry on. Would be good to get some tactics down. Dedicated flanking squads, with dedicated 'down the middle' squads as a distraction etc.
Thats the thinking I like.Is it sad that I quite like the idea of coded comms?
I'm tempted to ping you all a mail with tactics numbered like in American football...

This could be 'learning' experience for us ahead of Thursday where I think the opposition is more closely matched.

The agreed matches are Conquest Caspian and Tehran - 2 of each 100% tickets, SWAY (or anyone else) - I have no idea how to change the server to this (the match organiser on battlelog may do it?) please could you? and make it unranked? Or explain to me how to do it?
I hope we can get 12, sorry for the short notice.
After the two match we should compare notes and see if we want to do more.
As before can anyone up for it let me know so I can add you to the list.

king hell, this will be a learning experience!I should be able to sort the settings tomorrow, but for future reference, if you go into the server then manage server, all the options are there, think from memory there's one tab for maps, one for settings, and a third for players.
Will start negotiations with the missus for Monday, and try to get my HTC headset to work properly.

Oh, for tonight, on Tehran I really struggle because of my spacker colourblind eyes, so I'm happy to either bow out of those games, or play Mav/LMG boy from spawn to spot and lay down suppression.
Assume there will need to be a bit at the start to set the teams up, prior to a game restart as there isn't a lobby type setup bit. I'm happy to do that, will be on from 7:30 once the kids are in bed.

I simply can't do hardcore - I just can't tell the difference between teams well enough.
Don't mind missing out, but if we can try to arrange softcore matches I'd really appreciate it.

There were a couple of guys who's speed and accuracy were literally unbelievable, at one point I was aiming at a guy, let off two shots and he turned and headshotted me in a blink.
I know they were all using headsets, but do you think they were using those splitfish controllers as well? A mate watching me play is a big PC gamer, he reckoned that could only have been done by a mouse.
Bloody enjoyable though, gotta find the 'we're unstoppable as a team' post a few pages back!
Oh, and for no jet ramming, I got mowed down a couple of times by grasscutting wings...

Apart from the obvious vehicle shortcomings, I think reviving is the key, and could have helped alot tonight, medics who hang back a little and then revive after the firefight.
As you well know I rock a set of paddles. It was incredible how they could keep their vehicles going, when they had us pinned in our base on Tehran with their IFV on the hill, it was already on fire when I broke out of the base in our IFV and started nailing it with the normal cannon and then armour piercing rounds. I put at least 10 rounds in to the side of it in quick succession and it still was shooting back and knocked me out.
The kill cam showed 3 or 4 engineers repairing it!
I was flying the MAV at that point, it looked like it only needed someone to go to the end of the terrace and lob a few grenades to take them out. When I tried I got picked off in seconds by snipers on the footbridge by B...The kill cam showed 3 or 4 engineers repairing it!
It was incredible to watch from the mav, really insightful.

k does that at 6pm? s do that, regardless of time, I speak as someone that's happened to.The really frustrating thing was when informed by the police it was clear I was prime suspect. It was only when I explained it was uninsured and left in the work carpark while I got it sold that they stopped digging for my timetable for the evening...

Having checked myself, it seems that battlereports aren't generated for unranked games, the last report on there was the game I played as warmup with Pexy prior to going onto our server.
That's annoying, but par for the course considering the grief I've had over the last 24 hours dealing with anything EA...
