Okay, so despite some blue on blue with fellow PH'ers last night it was good fun and our record is now 3 wins to 2 loses so we are going in the right direction.
Thank you to Tyrone-Ranger for being my tank buddy.
Next match is 31st August at 10.30pm (a rematch against Cobbra) - currently have Pexy and CJ1987 down - although I think I may have forgotten someone? Any takers let me know on here.
Still trying to organise another match for between now and then, including a rematch against the Euros who beat us, don't worry thats not the first lot, I think we've a way to go before I challenge them again!

Anyone else starting to get a little bored of the game? After 500 odd hours (I really need to get a life), I've done just about everything that's realistically possible in the multi-player game, the only things left to unlock are the mortar, lasar designate, 20hrs in the jet and SQDM medals, plus the final few unlocks for the mobile AA and scout helicopters and I'm finally starting to lose any motivation to work towards them. Hopefully the next DLC will stir things up again - it can't come soon enough for me!

Unfortunately they don't include supporting team mates beyond putting ammo/med kits/spawn beacons/etc. down in useful places and reviving/spotting where possible. I'm not really suited to running and gunning, which you need to do if you're playing in a squad as you can't keep all 4 of you in one position and still win the game.

im the runner/gunner type as cant hit anything at range but i tend to be a lone wolf player except in clan matches as tend to switch to support role to benefit the whole team rather than my individual score (well thats my excuse from being off pexys scores)

There are certain maps (Bazaar is a good example) where there are places you can set up to protect a flag on your todd and nothing short of a tank or full on assault from multiple directions will shift you.

That's key for me because I'm often shooting at 4 or 5 guys in quick succession and need to take them all out before I reload and get grenade spammed. I've used a lot of the LMGs and find the more stopping power they have, the more recoil they have when not on the bipod/suppressed. I'd prefer less recoil/suppression than more stopping power, to be honest (with 200 rounds, I find I've got plenty of stopping power anyway!).

Don't mention it Judge, really enjoyed that last night, first match for me and first time I ever felt nerves before playing a video game - must be due to the semi official nature of matches! Shame MPG didn't field a full team but I guess its up to them to ensure their players turn up. The end of the second round of Firestorm turned into a rout, it was quite funny how we were all running through the desert towards their base. Fair play to them though, they didn't give up and actually put up a decent fight considering. Hopefully we can sort a rematch, in the mean time could you please stick me down for the 31st? Cheers. How did Pexy get so many kills in that first match – didn’t he have 32, with next nearest on about 10? Have to say I thought they were too tight on their squads, as Sway said it was relatively easy to get 3 or 4 kills in quick succession as they spawned on each other and were temporarily disorientated. So all I can imagine is Pexy got ‘lucky’ and came across a lot of groups?!
Youngsyr - I think the PH team one has a very good mix of run and gun/C4 types, and those who hold ground – essential on conquest and Rush defending, perhaps less so on Rush attacking, but then I know I have more than once raced you for the MComm!

Anyway whats the crack with this cobbra outfit we're playing on the 31st? They going to give us a decent game?

The scores for the first game were fecked - in the warmup I allegedly had 5k10d, even though far more happened both ways in the 20 minute warmup.
Once the match started I seemed to start with those numbers, and it then started counting properly...
Couldn't fail to notice I was top scorer in the third round, and beaten to top score on the last by Pex by 35 points!

My Rush attacking playing style is very different to my Conquest style - on Rush I could best be described as Kamikazee!! I started out that way because I was just trying to unlock the MCOM attacker medal and so just had to beat my teammates to the MCOM without caring about KDR etc, but then I realised that it's actually a pretty effective way of playing the game - beat the defenders to the MCOM and try to hold out long enough for the MCOM to blow!
