Just had an email from simply games saying 'officially' what we already news i.e. recieving payments and dispatching on Monday by 1st class royal mail.... I hope they are just doing this to cover their ass and actually dispatch fri/sat... I can wih right???

To be honest, this will be the test on who all my future pre-orders will go to, depending on which (if any) retailers dispatch early or not.

Silly question. I've lost my GTA 4 but have saved it onto my hard drive. Can I play online or just the story mode?

Shopto took my money on the 10th as well and I also have a tracking number for it. Still in processing though. Hope it falls into a post bag tomorrow and turns up on Saturday!. Wishful thinking..

If it's Xbox you need the disc to play it full stop.

You still need the disc for either I think!

I think you might need the disc in the tray to play regardless? Seem to remember my 360 being like that.

Definitely doesn't work on mine. GTA in the tray, tried to launch Forza from hard drive and it asks for the disc to be inserted!

Did you download Gta IV from the marketplace or install the full game from the disk?
