i returned a stolen mountain bike to a guy and he texted me saying he was rich and wanted to give me 100k in shares lol. it pays to be nice, sometimes

I used a parachute for the first time last night.
Picked up a 'chute on the mountain (in the cable car bit) then grabbed the dirtbike and rode it off the side then jumped off...chute opened and I glided around ...OH side my eyes have never been so wide open while playing a video game.

Just brilliant.

Yeah, really does take your breath away, you can see mount chilliad from almost anywhere on the map!

Yep that or save disc 2 (the "play" disc) onto a USB stick, and play it off that...saves the disc drive working overtime all the time and the big fan running at full speed trying to keep it all cool all the while you are playing.


I did it with mine last night (32gb SanDisk Cruzer USB from Amazon)...My Xbox is latest version 250gb.
I had been playing it off the disc without any stutter issues although I wasn't overly happy with how hard the disc drive was working or how hot it was when switching it off.
After playing it off the USB it was noticeably quieter while playing and a lot cooler when I shut it down last night too.

Definitely worth putting the play disc onto USB and running it off that imho

Heat seeking / lock on missiles on the buzzard are brilliant especially for when police helicopters try and take you out

Flying over the island at night showed that it really is a great looking game. I'm surprised it looks so good on the consoles. I'd say it struggles a bit in the city as there is a lot going on, but out in the countryside/desert it really does look fantastic. I'm not sure the map is bigger than Far Cry 3 though.... maybe I'm wrong?

Need some help. Just done Daddys little girl. Micheal has about $7k and Franklin about $2k, not bought any cars are spent any big amounts of money. Robbed a few stores.

Lester is now on my map so want to take advantage of the stock market tips previously mentioned but read that people had $250k at that point. HOW????

I got £600k for Michael and about £200k for Franklin after the first Heist and then started the Lester assassination missions which milk the stock market

Now then. What did you do to make that happen? I tried this last night. Picked up the parachute then got on the dirt bike, launched it off the mountain's ramp, jumped off. Argh no chute! Dead!

I'd like to know how you all return stolen bikes etc - where do you find all this stuff to do? Are they the little bits that pop up on the map every now and again as you wander around?

Near the docks, more the marina actually. It's buy-able so thats how I found it.
