The full beta release has been announced for 13 June 2014, and this new video of the gameplay looks excellent!

Missions now, four large maps, fuel, damage, winching, cranes, looks to be great fun!

Initial thoughts:
This really is very good, the physics modelling is great, there are a few times where i'm thinking "really?" but most of the time everything happens as I would expect.
It's actually a puzzle game at the heart of it, and a good one at that. Working out how you are going to get somewhere is challenging, and you learn what your trucks can do in the different terrain quite quickly, each reset you get a bit closer to your goal the next time around.
Sound wise it's awesome, it looks absolutely gorgeous and doesn't seem that taxing on my mid range gaming PC.
It needs a lot of work doing to it though! My main issues:
The camera is absolutely awful, you are always fighting it, there is no option to just have it in free mode and control it yourself, so it is continually trying to do something utterly crazy.
I'm playing with an xbox controller, but would much prefer to use a wheel. That is coming apparently, but unless the camera gets fixed then using a wheel might be a bit tricky. At least with the controller I always have my thumb on the camera control so can fight it, with a wheel i'll need to keep stopping every few yards to reset it I expect.
There are 5 maps, I spent about an hour unlocking cloaking points in the first map, and having great fun doing it. Then I changed map... Boom, all progress on the first map is lost! Every time you switch maps it resets everything right back to the start, that really is atrocious, and desperately needs an update to fix that.
All in all it's good, and worth giving a go, but it has some serious issues that they need to overcome.

Ahh, I did exactly that!! Same place, ended up winching out!! Managed to uncloak one spot, by driving as the bird flies, which meant lots and lots of winching! Only played 1 hour, tonight Ill have a crack on my PC rather than the laptopI agree with the camera, its a tad annoying, using the Xbox controller here too!
