So rumour has it that the quality and frame rate has dropped from inital reports. Dropping from 60fps at 1080p to 30fps at 900p.

Yes. There's so much more to graphics than simply the resolution they display at.

So many packs, dlc and content variations, confusing and designed to milk the gamer. I will wait for steam sale goty version.

Hate when companies try blatent exploitation.

Same. Between last of us, GTA 5 and infamous I'm pretty much over the open city genre for a while.

Steam sale next year maybe.

Any truth to the rumours that the map is tiny compared to the last gta?

Not sure, then again GTA is a complete law unto itself. Theres a reason those games are in development for over 5 years at a time. Its meant to be the majority of Chicago so it should be fairly decent although that is just one City, which I guess compared to GTA would be pretty small.

It's not a GTA so why would it need to be any size close to the last GTA?

Looks pretty next gen to me, once I've finished Dead Rising 3 I'll be all over this, I do enjoy a good sprawling map with loads to explore. cool

GTA Vice City had a relatively small map but was still one of the most fun GTA's.

Ubisoft have a problem though. Cracked and ready to play versions are freely available if you know where to look on XBone, PS4 and on PC. And it's not out for another four days. Needless to say they're proving very popular with some saying they're cancelling preorders. But don't forget 'always online' DRM will stop this from happening they said! Laughable!

Day one DLC, underscore in the title, hacking traffic lights, third person perspective...

Perhaps on a Steam 75% off deal in 2015.

P.s:

Just being factious- I've bought it on Steam, it's just a shame the UK distributors couldn't wrangle them into selling it on Friday for a bank holiday weekend of gameplay excitement.

Oh well.

For some reason I'm not in any rush to buy it, usually I'd be standing in the cue.

Couple of friends have already taken theirs back in. I cancelled my pre-order last week from a few vids and twitch feeds.

IGN gave it 8/10
Metacritich gave it a 82 but a user rating of 5.8!
