and if wired isn't an option look at your s/n ratio and/or what channel other networks around you are on, switch to a quieter channel, get better wireless performance.

Well I thought after all these weird combos I pick something sensible tbh.

Was thinking something around 500pp, RWD running on Sport Softs/Meds.

I'm on holiday for the next two rounds and will not be around to sort out the next team 4 combo so over to you Torque for that one.

Apart from the dire & severe connection problems, I think fun was had by all! I thought it a real shame psn was utter rubbish, couldn't see half the field in race 2.
As for the hilarious grumblers, history is rich with notable drivers who are held in such high regard as champions not just for their ability to win but of because of their ability to master all conditions, not just perform in warm sunshine on sticky rubber. Lap it up you lucky people!

im always up for tricky conditions but racing a evora on ditch finder tyres is a bit too far imo, cant mind who said it but there should be a rule that the car should have at least the tyres it came out the factory in so in the evora case would be sports hards

Why is it too far?.

Last night was great fun, in my opinion.

Much better than racing in underpowered, overly grippy race cars!.

There will be no such rule under my watch. And I'll remind you all again this is a dictatorship not a democracy!

Whilst I know some of the combos can get a bit extreme, last night was no where near some of the extremes we have visited in the past.

Concentration was needed in the max, I admit but it wasn’t that bad and enjoyed by little battles.

For the new guys we only tend to get one or two of these a season (ie Billy and GW's picks hehe)

I expected a bit more of this sort of thing at Goodwood this year for M-Sport's 40th!

This is largely why I've dropped out of these lobbies.
As the weeks went on I noticed a pattern: I know, let's chose a great car (yay)...now let's stick s**t tires on it.....erm wtf?

Not for me, hence I dropped frown shame as I'd wanted to race with you guys for a while, but connection issues were putting a halt to it...I sorted my set-up out so I could join you, thanks anyway.

As always, your grace is much appreciated in allowing us our slippery folly ;-) all helps to add variety!

You did one or two races, you didn't bother turning up to get a good idea of what each week is like.

We do different tyres each week, last week was on racing hards.

Yesterday's combo has been the only slightly slippery combo in this championship.

Don't use that as an excuse for not bothering to turn up Blade.

Yes, thanks for allowing everybody to choose the combos that they would like, Dice. It would be boring if we all had the same type of combo.

I swear some people just want 100BHP and racing softs hehe.

Yeah, it would have been good to get a selection of iconic M-Sport cars like that.

Is anybody going to the Goodwood Revival in September?.

My combo was on very grippy tyres. Most other people's have been as well.

If you are the type of person who refuses to race on any tyre other than Racing Soft on every car in the game, then there isn't much we can do about that. I remember when me and GW joined some other chaps racing at Spa in BMW M3's where everyone was using RS tyres, and it was boring and easy.

The main reason I didn't turn up last night was because I was out with a fit girl and she begged me to stay out with her. The fact that the combo was difficult on a pad was only a secondary consideration really.

Next week should be good, don't let us down on combo choice Flip!

I didn't mind the combo, the novelty value was good but good close racing wasn't really possible as the risk of damage was too high, what gets me though is the arcadeness of it, even on ditch finders no car would act like that in real life.

Combos like that will make you better drivers though as it encourages smooth driving. Goodwood actually held a subconscious training session last night smile

Dice, a suggestion for your perusal as captain, I think it may be time to consider either a penalty system or 2 cars with the faster driven by the bottom 6 drivers from the table, as the racing is getting a little boring, same battles between the same drivers.

Goodwood I don't see how you have any enjoyment driving by yourself upfront, my best races are when I'm part of the pack fighting for position.

And Blade, worst excuse ever!
