I'm going to be setting my Live account up soon, and I'd like to get involved in some races, the only problem being, how do I go about joining the PH club? Is it as simple as sending a request to join or do I have to get invited? A one model, locked tune series sound fun, I can't tune and I'll probably spend most of my time at the back of the pack, so at least it might give me a chance.

What's your GT? Either Fatty, Chow Mein or I will invite you depending on who's on. The club thread is here; http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
Well, this all looks very promising. Josh, that was exactly how I set my Scirrocco up at 564, somewhere between 575 and 585 I think would be perfect to allow a couple of minor engine upgrades.
Personally I wouldn't like to lock the tune but instead set a specific weight limit and power output on the lobby, that way you can tune suspension and gearing but keep the cars setup the same for everyone.

We could try something a bit different e.g two tunes to choose from; one quicker on the straights, not so good on the corners and one good handling with not so good straight line speed. Or is that making it too complicated?
I'll start a thread up later tonight where we can see how many people would be interested.

2 tunes sounds good, but I don't think it'll work. I'm sure one of us could make the quicker car handle just as well as the slower one. I'll start a thread up later tonight where we can see how many people would be interested.
I could start a thread now if you want? I have nothing to do all day apart from fiddle with my MX bikes.
Guys, can we enter our name on the thread if you're interested in taking part!

Cheers, I haven't set my account up yet, so I'll post my GT on the club thread in the next few days. The club thread is here; http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
