ETA: Williams how old are you? Early 90s BTCC is my bread and butter stuff too, one of my heroes is Steve Soper for the way he commanded his 318is in 1992, awesome driving...
I'm 19 born in late 1992, but when growing up my dad bought me every season review from 1990 onwards and I watched them all the time. I would have to say my personal favourite is Jon Cleland. His "attitude" was brilliant, and he only lived down the road from my grandparents! Something I only found out a few years ago.ETA: Williams how old are you? I feel the series has a lot to explain for me wanting some crappy old volvo s40, or a primera, even a laguna! Or an accord....
Anyone remember the two Toyotas( I think ) taking each other off at oulton?
Oh, and just for info, my GT is Echo Cobra. Anyone add me if you want in on this.

I have a CH6 Accord and one day I will get it looking like this:
It was the Super Touring cars that inspired me to go looking for one, obviously I wanted a TypeR but finances wouldn't allow it at the time. Soon though, soon........

One of my all time favourite races was at Brands but I forget the year, Soper and Rouse battling it out in the Grp.A RS500s. Awesome driving indeed.]

That clip Chuck posted gives me of that unexplainable feeling of "being a kid" again. Nose pushed through the chainlink fence watching in awe and honestly believing that "that's what i'm gonna do when i grow up"
Absolutely no final rules yet. Thats what this thread is for. I'll update/start a new on when we've finalised what we want.
As for PI for AWD cars, they were the heaviest penalised back in the day, Biela and Bintcliffe's Audi had a bigger weight to carry. I did forget about the fact they are over PIed though. It was the other way in FM3. Maybe they should be the same as the RWD cars then?

AWD could do with maybe even being higher than RWD, equal PI AWD vs RWD the RWD is going to be faster on most tracks. Could do with some testing really, pick a track as a benchmark then run a few different setups until we get something that makes all the cars competitive. They really nerfed AWD after it's dominance in FM3.
Shame no engine swaps, the Alfa V6 sounds glorious. But I guess that'd be more DTM than BTCC.

Either mate, fairly sure they have both been used at some point in the btcc.
If someone that isn't on an iPad can update the table from earlier that would be jubblies.
