Was thinking about this the other day, what map did I enjoy more than any others. Besides the obvious Nuketown for sheer lunacy and some mega PH clan massacres, I have to go all the way back to the original Modern Warfare for mine....Pipeline....a great mixture of climbing, rooftops and tunnels. One of the few maps in the whole series that could be played at 3 altitudes.
What's yours??

Derail. Just because I can get easy kills with akimbo rangers in that building.
Highrise too though. Really haven't managed to gel with MW3 maps..

It would be cool if they did a "greatest hits" game, which took the best maps, weapons, perks etc from all previous CoD multiplayer games and ran then through the latest physics engine and released that.
It would make them a decent wedge as it's just re-hashing existing content, but how cool would it be as a gamer to have the best bits of each?
(I suspect one problem would be that one person's "best bits" are not the same as another's. Still I'd rather they spent a bit more time on the multiplayer, since I think the single player costs most of the dev budget, what with its unique maps and enemy AI and 3d capture acting etc. But I only ever play the multiplayer.)

From cod5 WaW for manic fun, Courtyard and from the same game, For a good mix of sniping and all out fighting, Seelow. Odd that no other COD game since has had vehicles which you can use on the battlefield.

Probably firing range for me.
Not a fan of any of the MW3 maps. Absolutely full of camping spots and people hiding in them.

Have you guys seen the new COD BLOPS2 MW trailer analysis video? Search youtube for "Woodysgamertag" who have done a 20min analysis of it. (Can't post the link as YT blocked at work.)

Almost all of the CoD4 maps were awesome: Overgrown Bloc Bog Crossfire Backlot Chinatown Crash Countdown District Showdown Vacant Strike
I've just had a gaming nostalgia overload and will have to play CoD4 in my pants on Sunday.

I played CoD4 the other day for the 1st time in about 4 years! Hmmm let's just say it should have been kept as an awesome memory! It's awful to play now

Didn't get much of a chance to play it but i liked 'Creek'. Very large outdoorsy map, lots of long grass and a small incanyon. I think it was in a map pack on COD4 but as WAW was released WAWfairly soon after it didn't get much of a look in.

Crossfire from modern warfare is my all time favourite.
Epic sniper battles down the main street and you can have close quarters battles in the buildings that make up each side. Great map for sabotage matches.

this thread is relevant to my interests, pictures would help identification of maps easier.
