I know.... weird, Have done a ton of laps (over the years) but just can't string a good time together.

I can close my eyes and lap it in my head, it is one of my favourites
same but strange that no one seems to want to race on it in public lobbies but one thing ive noticed is that practice pace isnt really accurate because in the race all you need is a good slipstream and clean driving and its anyones game biggrin

I though dice's comment was sincere and constructive, at least you got a reply dice, i've tried to add advice and help on this thread and i was either ignored or told i was wrong... by blade incidentally. readit

Believe it or not we've learnt quite a lot about GT5's quirky ways over the years, sorry for trying to help you guys out.

Have a look on gtplanet there is a really comprehensive tuning manual, it covers everything. Im still getting my head around it. lol Well worth a look though. Learnt loads reading it. If you can't find it I've got PDF copies, I could alway send it via email.
Granted No-one seemed to have noticed this^^ myself included...sorry.

Something worth noting when detuning cars, the torque level remains the same. So putting a big torquey turbo on and turning the power right down on a powerful car will always give you an advantage on PP.
nono
Torque is taken into account
Okay, it must have changed then.. It never used to. No need to shake your finger at me wink
Was taken in good spirits at the time^^^

If it offended you then I'm Sorry for correcting your mistake...opinion spoken as FACT is often the case.

well from my pov you werent ignored and y2 corrected something you said (which ive confirmed).

ive also looked up the issues DD pointed out but theres no reference of any issues with SSR5 on any GT forum and even tested the track online and there was no issues with it so im guessing PD fixed whatever issue there was awhile ago. Any help or tips are appreciated from anyone but iirc i was told this type of champ wouldnt work and wouldnt last 2 weeks aswell by guys from your champ so maybe you can understand that some members have taken a dislike to these comments being made.

The top 6 in our "use a car you like and tune it yourself" series are covered by 30 points
The top 6 in their "all use the same car" series are covered by 135 points.

Each series clearly has people that enjoy what they are doing, otherwise they'd leave the series so all is good.

Let's all just get along eh?

I don't know if there's been any bug fix since - it was a while ago - but one race we had on SSR5, generated complaints from almost everyone that raced that night, for not being able to get anywhere near the lap times they had achieved before. Cars handling completely differently, no grip, etc, etc. Even people in the same cars being left behind on the straights (with no tuning)? It was very wierd.
There was a problem. We had a close to full lobby, and all in premium cars.

well if theres any issues with it on the night will just use a different track but didnt notice any difference in times (online vs offline practice times)

It's a odd phenomenon and tbh it seems confined to GT5...you/we don't get these petty arguments between different series/championships on Forza4!!!
EVERYONE just enjoys playing the game and joins in with each others series regardless of who is organising/running them...perhaps some of the "grown-ups" on GT5 could learn something from the kids on Forza?

Oooh grand valley full is a good shout. Think the elevations would destroy my poor old lotus though. Like you Chris, I like doing the oddball circuits that nobody races. London for example.
