Thanks G, much appreciated.

I use a Canon EOS 450D with a Tamron 70-300mm for the track stuff, the close up stuff is just with a 18-55mm.

This is class, one of the GRM cars got destroyed at Surfers Paradise on the weekend so the team boss piled up all the broken bits behind the garage and had a sale to make some cash back. I would well buy that stuff up!

Nice set up, been eyeing up a canon dslr and zoom lense recently. Got a bridge camera at the moment, but it's falling apart. Brands has really given the photography bug again.

That's one way to slow you down, make you turn your screen upside down, or better still turn you upside. Bit like top gear vs Aussie top gear!
Would it slow me down though...

Some say Goodwood races only if he's been turned upside down...

It may be that, by consistently driving much much too fast for programmable logic, you have broken virtual time & space in gt land & 'jumped' to a confusing future gt5 event where apparently tyres & oil are scarce & there's no place for hybrid technology....

Tell us more of your future racing visions, grand wizard!

Okay, what the hell just happened?!.

I was doing a few practice laps when all of a sudden the screen goes black (but the HUD stays), it then reappears but I have no tread at all on my tyres (they were new) and my oil light had come on!. Also my battery disappeared (this car is a hybrid)!

Have I broken GT5? yikes

hehe

I've not had anything so strange, but have been getting disconnected errors a lot recently.

Update 3.01 has an 'anti-Norbury90' setting.

Thank God.

Really enjoyed last night's combo.

Good battle with GW and Ian in the first race, thought Ian would have me but I just held him off.

Second race, Cooper was on fire! couldn't shake him off no matter how hard I tried. Was relieved when I saw him make a mistake and disappear from my mirrors.

Happy to see Dice and Norbs behind me when I exited the pits smile

Oh and next weeks combo....................You're a git GW.

BTW my choice would be Classic Minis for the team pick.

Yep, I really enjoyed that battle in the first race. It was nice and clean.

I've started to get bad lag lately, it makes it hard to race cleanly. I had it last week with Dice and it was happening again this week.

At one point in race two Norbs appeared to have forgotten to brake going into turn two and hit the barriers...only to teleport back onto the track behind me!.

People aren't lagging all of the time though, it's just sometimes...confused. I'll try clearing my cache.

My choice would also be Classic Minis for our team pick.

This week's combo is:

The Pagani Zonda R with an oil change and high RPM turbo (it should be roughly 935BHP and 1070KG).

All car settings default (aero, suspension etc).

On comfort mediums and hards.

Around Spa.

And the forecast is rain, lots of it too.

100% surface water, 100% weather and 0 weather changeability.

Enjoy thumbup.

I have to say, I did try a little practice last night but its impossible too.

It's more about surviving the lap than racing the track/car.

I predict carnage.

What ballast do the top four have to run this week Dice?.

Having played with it last night I found that ballast can help traction in this instance and given you can't use all the ponies actually creates an advantage.

So for one week only no compulsory ballast
