I'd go for the PC, keyboard/Mouse control always wins. Plus the graphics will probably be better (if your PC is high spec enough). On my PC it looks miles better than it does on my bro's xbox360.

Been playing this solidly for the last few weeks now and I have say it's brilliant fun. Love the humor, the guns and the outlandish graphics. My only gripe would be that it keeps re-using the same locations multiple times. Having to walk the same corridors and face the same re-generated baddies 4-5 times starts to get a bit old. Other than that it's a pretty good game.

Well I completed the storyline missions in the early hours of this morning with a level 32 assassin, just a shed load of side missions to do now. I had the support of a commando with a fully loaded turret, I think it would have been very difficult without that to help.
Weird, I thought the end boss was quite easy. I did it single handedly first time through whereas I died about five times on the run up to the boss (with all the robots, not the pre-boss boss).

Given all the stick they got for making the end boss too easy in the first game it is somewhat ironic that I beat this final boss using an identical tactic.

Level 19 now and my first 'proper' challenge so far in the game I reckon: the Gluttinous Thresher. Took a few attempts to do playing solo, but once you get the right weapon loadout (tactically speaking), it's not too bad. Still a complete ammo drain though!

Threshers, schmeshers.

I have a full auto fiery shottie and a full auto acid shottie and when you gunzerk those two together, it's just ridiculous damage time.

I got to the gluttinous thresher last night too - after being killed once, I managed to hole myself up somewhere it couldn't get to me. Just sat there with a recently acquired rocket launcher thing shooting it in the face. It felt like cheating, but it was a very obvious nook behind some crates...

Get on your play-through 2 and then comment how easy it is. The enemies are upgraded SERIOUSLY and are not just renamed versions of the originals. Armored Psychos for example have a full body suit and were annoying enough with no armor...

I went into the playthrough with some serious weaponry that murdered the last boss with no second winds at lvl 35. Started on the 2nd go and I think harsh language would be more powerful...my guns suck!

I met with a Caustic Badass Skag last night. That didn't go well for either me or my turret.

"I'm melting! I'm melting! I'm dead..." (respawn, run round to where I died, have another go... rinse and repeat)

Could probably do with a shield or artefact thing to resist caustic. That would probably help. hehe

I find it odd that most of the time I am breezing through one shotting nearly everything I come across (sniping owns) and then all of a sudden I'll run into a random baddie which might not even be a boss who will kill me 3 times and take about 100 shots before it goes down, pretty weird.

"This is my rifle. There are many others like it, but this one is mine."

Burst fire of 3 rapid shots when zoomed at 348 damage makes it very useful against the big 3-legged chappies with the yellow crystals on their legs. A 3-shot burst to each leg and then a final burst to whatever is left tends to bring them down, which is nice.

I got to Level 17 tonight and have suddenly got a bit overwhelmed by how much great loot there is! Loads of really great guns - I'm just having to be careful to make sure I keep a mix of all gun types so I don't run out of ammo mid-fight.

I've just started doing some side quests, such as the clan war one and the good, the bad and the ugly treasure hunt. Am I the only one who, when asked to go to the Friendship Gulag, just runs straight through ignoring as many robots as possible? I get the impression they'll keep coming if I stop and fight them...

I've got a lower powered equivalent (I'm a lowly 14). The burst fire is ace. I've also got an explosive shotgun that looks like yours. One shot death to the face on the rare occasions it's actually not re-loading.

Looks like you've missed a nice leeetle feature. If you click on the box to the right of the weapon in the rucksack you can stick little stars next to your favourites which makes it easier to sort out your cache after a bunch of loot collecting on the run.

I'm a level 19 commando at the moment, centering my playstyle around a super-powerful (for my level) sniper rifle I've got, and using a mix of fire / corrosive weapons of other types to take down elementally vulnerable enemies. I've just done Tiny Tina's Tea party - best mission of the game so far, she is a brilliant character, and so far I'm totally caning the opposition. I'm looking forward to finishing the game, though I've got some way to go yet, and starting a NG+, just to see how much the difficulty will ramp up.

If you reach the level cap at level 50, can you max out the skill try by that point? Tbh, there are some skills in the Commandos tree that I simply wouldn't bother spending points on, but some of them make him an absolute monster. In particular the skill that boosts your fire rate and accuracy massively when you kill an enemy, once you get one kill you can unleash hell if you keep your momentum up.

I still have not been able to get the achievement for killing a fully levelled Goliath yet though, argh.

You can fill up one skill tree by level 50, or reach the top rank in one and spread a few points around the other two.

I used a golden key (at lvl20) last night and got a mega purple rail gun and new SMG. The rail gun does almost 700 damage per slug! evil
