It's a little disappointing you can't switch to a 3rd person perspective at all, not that it would be all that useful, but it might be nice to see the skins in action and especially playing as Zer0 I'd like to see his emotes from time to time, I'm stuck to making do with the 3rd person view as he moves from one seat to the other in a vehicle.

I'm enjoying it, first one was excellent.
I've landed up with an 8 round sniper rifle which uses up its magazine in 2 shots, it absolutely chews through ammo! hehe

Level 13 assassin on xbox 360. Love this game, it is very much like a cartoonised FNV with a diablo style loot system whoever said that smile Really enjoying it.
I need to find a corrosive gun to sort out the robots.

Went to the Danger Zone last night for a mission involving Volleyball and shirtless men, for a certain 'Loggins'.

The in-jokes just keep on coming, it's very much like Fallout in that regard.

Level 17 commando here and didn't find a single corrosive gun until just now, then 3 all turn up at once including a rather tasty purple assault rifle. Am I the only one that carries around a load of guns, grenade and class mods even though I don't use them but don't want to sell them either, "just in case" biggrin and hence run out of room in the backpack all of the time despite 2 storage upgrades already

Lot of fun though and as above, some of the in-jokes are great

Just bought the game this afternoon but that is how I played the original so I imagine that is exactly how I will play this one.

Can you play co-op with 2 players and a couple of CPU controlled characters or do you have to have 4 players?

To close for missiles. Also shirtless bad guys. Made me smile all mission.

Went to pre order XCOM this morning and decided to watch a review of this because it was so popular, I'd dismissed it before because I thought it looked weird...

.... and eight hours later I've lost my Saturday, but this is the best game I've played in a long time biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

Players only.

you can still play fine with 2. The game scales.

Not finished Borderlands yet. But I am really hankering after getting this. How much better than B1 is it? Worth skipping the rest of B1?

Played a sniper in B1 and loved it, was gonna do the same with this one, but veered off track and went with the gunzerker instead - rather fun (if a little ammo hungry) blasting away with 2 rocket launchers. Twin shotguns are also a bit of a hoot - get up close and really make a mess of things smile

First play with other people today and the difference is huge, the bad guys are solid, but if you work together, you can chew through them quick enough.

I loved the first Borderlands and played it to death (164 hours) and am 26 hours into B2

Currently absolutely loving the Social Shotgun 1340 Shotgun that talks to you (it's the gun you get as a result of the side-quest of Loader #1340 who keeps asking you to put him into bodies and then tries to kill you. It was very funny) - it's hilarious.

Love the humour. hehe

I've just done the bit where you meet Tina.
Gotta love her Badonkadonks.

And that isn't as pervy as it sounds. hehe

Have you found both Claptraps little hidey hole and also the safe in Roland's place in Santuary? Both allow you to store stuff that you want to keep and don't want to carry around.

In the first Borderlands I played a Siren, so I thought I would try something different for B2 and chose the Commando because the gun turret was just so damn cool. It's working pretty well for me so far. I'm at Level 17

Wish I'd known how damn rare my Golden Key was though - I used it the moment I found the the Golden Chest in Sactuary. frown

I chose the gun, and it was miles below the current weapon I had so binned it straight away!

There are some excellent characters, I'm still thoroughly impressed with it!

Oh that's a shame, because it is really very amusing.

I've just finished the missions with Tiny Tina. She was hilarious. rofl

Well,

I've been playing BL1 for the last 3 weeks (having had it sat in my pile of shame for around 2 years!!)

Cant believe I hadnt played it before, the game is just sooooo addictive and I love the various characters quips

"Come meet your maker!"

The toys throughout are just fantastic with the buzz from finding newer and better weapons giving a real buzz.

From the look of the comments on here and most of the reviews, I'll be out buying BL2 as soon as I finish 1

BL2 is much more 'slick' than 1, and with alot more weapons. The humour is what makes it though, such a nice change from 'serious' shooters (COD etc)

I've got four golden keys now, thanks to following the twitter account posted on here earlier.

Could do with a better warning before it lets you spend it though.
