Call of Duty: Black ops II
Discussion
Nope.
MP holds little interest to me and I rather doubt that the SP campaign will be significantly different to previous offerings, regardless of the futuristic shift.
And just to be clear, I'm no dyed-in-the-wool COD hater. I bought MW, MW2, MW3 and BlOps either on day of release or within the first week. I just think that it's going to be more of the same.
It will doubtless still sell in boatloads, notwithstanding my personal FU to Bobby Kotick!

Not at all really, although I've been playing the series for a few years now & it seems to be getting a bit, well, boring. On the other hand if I'd never really played CoD before & was 15 years old then BO2 would be looking somewhat superb.
Don't think I'll look forward to any new releases on the PS3/360 but I would certainly be interested how they perform/look on the next gen consoles.
No doubt it'll still purchased paWn some noobs ie James

I took the day off for the last couple of COD releases (Domino's pizza, mountain dew and reeses peanut cups for breakfast and lunch) but don't even think I'll bother buying this one full stop. Think I've had enough of FPS until the next gen comes tbh, much more interested in Skyrim/GTA where you can enjoy what the developer has put into the game.
Looking forward to it.
Hoping for more historical stuff - loved the Vietnam bits of Black Ops, hooning down the river in the gunboat with the Doors (i think?) blaring out. Get some.
MW3 for me = Meh Whatever 3.
ETA: Pre-ordered from Zavvi, hope it turns up on release day (or even better early!)

Always been a COD fan, i thought MW3 was absolutley terrible though, my & my friends all stopped playing it within 3 weeks as it was just so st, slow, everyone always seemed to spawn behind you in MP games & even if you played as a team you still lost.
We used to play as a clan & rarely ever got beaten on BlOp's!
MW3 i don't think we ever won!
Hopefully Black Ops 2 will go back to how black ops was, if not it'll be the last COD game i buy.

I think Infinty Ward's efforts have been far better than Treyarch's. WAW and Blops I thought were awful other than zombies mode. Cod4 is still the best to play if you can get in the right lobby, with MW2 a very close second and MW3 only just better than Blops and WAW.
I won't be buying Blops 2, but I bet someone buys it me for Christmas
Fifa 13 is where my console gaming concentration will be for a while.

Up until MW3 I'd been using the eggsbox, and didn't have XBL so MW3 on PS3 was my first online CoD experience. I've since borrowed Blops and CoD4 to compare how things have moved on, or regressed. I say regressed because the maps in CoD4 just feel like the developers actually put the time in. They were detailed, well thought out and generally just better. I'm looking forward to Blops2 more from the point of view that regardless of it being IW or Treyarch, Activision got such a slating for MW3, they couldn't possibly be daft enough to release another shoddy game. It's a bit of a last chance saloon for them perhaps.
The perk system looks quite good, and the brief online footage indicates some more interesting maps and weapons.
I've pre-ordered it for the PS3 and figured I'll take release day as a day's leave, to get some hours in. There's supposedly some 3D improvements over Blops1 as well, which is nice, for geeks such as I
