Been playing for a few months but haven't done anything in Krustyland as there is still enough to do in Springfield!

I haven't tried that actually - maybe it is quicker to get into on yours! 
I'm only a lowly level 10 & have just got the burns minumum security prison that spits out a new convict every 8 hours, I've only got Pie Man & Fallout boy that can deal with them, so that takes 12 hours (3x4hr jobs) so I'm always going to have more convicts than I can deal with?
I've read that Spiderpig can deal with convicts too, but that is 100 donuts (I think) to buy the silo/spiderpig, I'm currently on 41, is there a way to get more donuts quickly without paying real money?

I wouldn't bother, there's not that much longer on this event/task.I'm not all that worried about the convicts - bar the fact they tie up characters for a long time! it's more that I want the fancy stuff you get with donuts but don't want to purchase them! (It's almost as if they are trying to make money 
)

I think EA are more generous with handing out donuts than they use to be, although that might just be my perception. But there're no two ways about it, if you want an item costing the best part of 200 donuts, it'll take you a fair while to accumulate them just through tapping.
I've spent real actual proper money to buy donuts for a few items I've wanted. The way i look at it is I've spent £40 on computer games for consoles that I've barely played. I've been busily tapping away twice a day for a long time on TSTO, so even if i'd spent £30 on donuts, on a £ per hour played basis it's pretty good value compared to some of my other games.
Hell, I think I've just convinced myself to buy some more
