They are for the current time limited update, if you have only just started you may not have enough characters to do a lot with this update but don't let that put you off!

Thanks. I've just found that so it makes sense. I will be able to get some things before it runs out

Grampa will feed the birds on a bench and Lampwick will sleep on it, not sure others will sleep on it but Dolph will loiter on a bench with an adult magazine.

Fine here, is your Origin account logged in? It's happened a few times to me, because its logged me out of the game and gone back to the intro video.

It looks ok to me.

When I had this trouble it was due to not logging out properly. The battery was knacked and the phone just shut down.

The way I cured it was to do a complete un install and reinstall. Login again. It will give you a message about synchronization with another device andIif you click ok you might lose stuff. I just ignored the warnings kept clicking ok and everything was there.

This event ain't doing it for me , just playing it every few days

This ball drop thing is confusing. Adam I dropped one for you yesterday did you pick it up?

Yeah I got it and tapped on it and it was gone, I've dropped balls off in others towns so I guess they've gone towards the total.

I tapped a couple of balls in the first few days after it started, haven't seen one since and don't really want to spend 500 on a ball. On the prize counter it looks like nobody else does either, this morning it was about 1.1 million of a 1.1 billion total, for 10 donuts.

I'm pretty sure that counter is made up so we all get the prizes eventually. The speed always picks up too.

Unless you've got a hacked game, how are people are affording / why are people buying the balls? Amateur bucks seem thin on the ground and I need all i can get to upgrade my tapball players. Following that, i would save up for some of the other (hugely expensive) items. I just don't see how, at this stage at least, people have 500 bucks seemingly going spare? Unless the balls do something amazing i haven't noticed?

I don't think people are bothering. It's way too expensive and I bet we'll all get the community prizes regardless
