Checked in again and did the gate of nowhere, I'm up to 15 now from 6 next to the gate and some randoms walking around. 30 skellies might not be the emergency I thought.

Patience seems to be the way forward for the dailies now.
You'll get there before the week is up but not straight away. Just keep visiting friends and hoping the portal belches out something useful.

Annoying how slow going it is collecting toffee apples too.
Seems it might be worthwhile sending all the kids to the Brown House for jobs rather than bothering with Monsth'r as he just gives more Star spawn that don't give you any toffee apples. Any value in collecting more at this point? I had one of everything a long while back and now have over 5000 of each item sat doing nothing..

Defeating him does seem to give you a good chunk of apples each time.

defeating mthnster over the water and on land gives you a good lump of toffee apples.

but at the same time, keep the kids working on the brown house tasks. bear in mind that your Springfield can only have 20 nightmares wandering around at any one point so you need to spread your kids around several brown houses that are not too close to each other (you don't want to collect nightmares from more than one at a time). that way, depending on how many kids you have, you should have a good apple income.

Twice Bart has hunted nughtmares on his own and I've not got any skeltons.
The second time I rushed it just to me sure I didnt miss them.

Level 59 update - Gina vendetti ('does anybody who who that is...'.)

Yep another update to include Gina.
The leader of the girls side of juvi (American child prison) when Bart had to attend.
Subsequently used Bart to help her escape, etc etc.

Strange timing to release a new character and story arc whilst Halloween is still going and presumably EA are working on the crimbo update??

After going round my Springfield this morning, I'm 2 rabbits short of campfire level 28, and 6 zombies short of the 20 donuts. I have to wait 4 hours for the kids in the brown house again now.

Now to convert my stored ~7,000 of everything into craftables (basically get all the wailing walls you can as that increases your multiplier)

My bloody phone's packed up, wifi just stopped working, so I doubt I'll hit the re-neducation center now. Could install it onto my Dads Nexus 7 and use that, but I've already lost about 2 days now.

I thought you meant spooky walls until I checked and noticed that my multiplier had increased quite a lot when I crafted a few of the wailing walls - over 2% for each wall! And cash earning... For only 250 each! Bargain!

Reeducation centre and a big block of wailing wall are done. A day to go of ignoring the monster

As above, i've splurged everything onto wailing walls and currently doing the Re-Neducation Centre story line.
Now that Act 3 has ended, Bart has popped up to say I need to defeat Monst'hr 10 times to permanently sink the sunken temple...that makes sense then!

Mine updated itself yesterday (positive one of the timers still said 11 days left) and no more Halloween stuff. I'd missed the re-neducation centre anyway, but was in progress of sinking the temple.
