SF Heights just doesn't do it for me, wayyyyy too much attention needed to collect enough stuff. I buy the premium items and a few of the buildings and I'll make it look nice but CBA with hitting those $500m/$1bn targets.

Back to the super grind of SFH it is then.
I'm already circa 600 million value so adding more land and new items for updating should speed the process up a little.
Only 1 more Smithers task off getting the Burns resort too. I imagine it will take up quite a large area!

It does settle down which is good for my productivity at work! Quite glad I started the update at 2am when I couldn't sleep

However slightly annoyed that one of the tasks is to drop presents in friends' towns but I don't seem to have any left to drop and it's not particularly clear how to get more.

You're right the new update does start off VERY busy indeed.
But it does calm down again.

Getting a bit bored with the same old grind and craft system from EA.
Just re-hashing old story lines to fit with seasonal holiday's. Very lazy writing.

Just set them on the last task to get the level 5 snowman, got 20 donuts for the 5 days challenge, next up is the dancing reindeer on the main bit, less than 1000 hats away from that now. How far are you levelling up the hot squishee hut? I've got mine to level 10, the next step on the taskbar is to get to level 15 but all its doing is widening the range for tapping on the Christmas people, don't think I'll go any further.

I've got the reindeer, got the 20 donuts and just set the last task on the snowman too.

Upto level 11 on the squishee machine, I'll just keep going, doesn't hurt to keep the kids doing that for now!

Agreed, upgrading the Squishee machine is largely pointless as there's no benefit or reward for doing it so far as I can see??
That said, if you're kid characters aren't on any other update related task, there's no harm in sending them to update it.
Got my snowman finished and the 20 free dohnuts.
Almost finished upgrading the Flanders Gingerbread gaff.

Finished the Gingerbread Mansion yesterday and got Patches & Poor Violet this morning so am now just tapping around for the next part of the story.

Quite pleased I didn't use any doughnuts either

It just increases the tap range when tapping Merrymakers.
