Have you fathomed the "Double-Cecil's-Reward" thingy?
Mrs Beano (Beanette007) has sussed that when you collect the Cecil's task reward you should go to a different Springfield (who has a Cecil) IMMEDIATELY BEFORE you get sent to your own Cecil and collect the reward from him. The Cecil in the other Springfield will give you a reward as if it was your own, then when you return, your Cecil gives you the reward too....

Do you do that after you click 'done' on the task list or before? Have you fathomed the "Double-Cecil's-Reward" thingy?

Thanks.Is anyone actually going to make the Farmers market (without spending donuts)? I'm only on 10,500/4,600 - not even close and I usually breeze through things without any donuts 😕

Yes. Click on the thumb, don't collect anything, straight away go to a friends town. The minute you get into that town the screen scrolls to terwilliger and the payout above his head. Collect. Go back to your town. Same screen scroll happens .Collect K12beano said:

Just now managed to collect my mutant plant, but I'm only half-way to being able to craft the Farmers Market (7000/3500).
This double Cecil thing definitely does not work for me. It's impossible to go to another town without collecting.
Click on done.
Scrolls to completed yellow thumb up.
Click on that.
Pop up appears to say collect. Don't click on it go to other town. Stuff appears to be automatically collected.
Other town does not scroll to Cecil. Find him nothing happens.
