Anyone else thinking they could have kept saving to get that thing they were missing if they had known they had an extra time to get stuff?

Maybe the decoy was doable if I hadn't spent what I could to clear the decks before yesterday morning.

I was just thinking that.

Yesterday morning it said something like 3 hours to go. Nuts I thought, I'll be at work so crafted what crappy bits I could. If I'd known it would continue I'd have set everyone on tasks where I might have stood a chance in crafting something decent.

Yeah I could have had decoy Homer by now, instead of multiple cactus patches and an extra monsarno building...

I apparently subconciously anticipated this and didn't spend anything on the 'last day'.
Homer Decoy and Welcome Bob sign should be purchased quite soon.

Apparently the U.S. Government asked EA for it to be extended. They're torturing Guantanamo Bay inmates with it, the inmates are spilling the beans beginning for it to end.

This update and 'event' has been rubbish IMO. All these different things to aim for making it very difficult to find out what's worth getting. Then there's the opera house thing too and the Monsarno and weed whacker upgrades which are, IMO, a distraction and fertiliser/corn/notes/DNA sink which just put you even further behind. I know they want people to play regularly, several times a day in fact but many can't do that. I'm a bit sick of the 'long haul' events where Ia lways seem to end up short unless I put hours and hours into it.
