Thank God, I thought I was the only one. The large open world was beautiful for starters. And the fire effects were brilliant too.
The gameplay was good...but got very repetitive, very quickly.
Needed more weapons, but sniping in that game was great fun.
If FC3 can take the good parts of FC2, and learn from it's mistakes....then this could be an absolute gem.
I'm actually slightly confused as to which version to buy
Insane edition is out. Way too much for a bobble head
But then there are two further versions available from game and the store I visited couldn't answer many questions about them...
Lost expeditions... 40mins of extra gameplay and a flare gun... Free to pre-order
Limited edition Predator pack... 4 predators to hunt and an exclusive hunting bow... £5 deposit required to pre-order.
What they couldn't tell me is if the lost expedition missions also come with the predator pack version.
Seems pretty pointless if they don't.?

I think the lost expeditions is included in all of the pre-orders, a bit like Nuketown was for Black Ops 2. Looking on this page:Insane edition is out. Way too much for a bobble head

You get the lost expeditions with the predator pack.
They're supposedly in talks to bring it to Steam. Can't be faffed with 17 different platforms, but I suppose it's "The Future"... I can't remember the last time I bought a boxed copy of anything, it's Steam or nowt for me.
On the other hand, I'm also happy to wait - FC2 was beautiful but hopeless, patches slowly but surely made it vaguely playable, so I can't help but think this may be similar...

Any suggestions on best place to order from?
Depends what version you are after, impossible I found to get the insane edition but alot of places have the lost expeditions one which has a couple of extra missions. Blockbuster seems cheapest at £36.99 i think although most places only guarantee you to have it Friday if you ordered by mid day today. http://youtu.be/EvMQAkoue6w
This was quite fun to watch although he did meander about a bit!
21:10 had me chuckling.

Its going to be quite interesting to see how this one goes once it hits the public. I also wont be buying it until I know without a doubt its not the shambles that FC2 was. After FC2 I vowed to never buy a Ubisoft game againout of principle!
Well if every single press review isn't going to convince you, why would a bunch of PHers you don't know from Adam? The only way you're going to be able to convince yourself is to try it.Gassing Station | Video Games | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
