User reviews seem very positive, I've seen GOTY bandied around, Skyrim without guns and COD on a tropical island. One common theme is its excellent and you can get side tracked very easy into looting and exploring.

Are you sure? It's not available on Steam, they're currently trying to remedy that, but no sign of it on there at the moment.

Yup Steam Uk aren't listing it and I suspect that means it'll be on Ubisoft's platform only for Digital only versions

Well if every single press review isn't going to convince you, why would a bunch of PHers you don't know from Adam? The only way you're going to be able to convince yourself is to try it.

I'd trust the judgement of Phers over a press review.

ETA: It's on steam in other regions, so I suspect it'll appear at some point in the UK - his code should work

Received mine today from blockbuster, all installed to hd, dlc downloaded and updates done (o how console gaming has changed) looking forward to having a good play on it tomorrow as got some time off from work. I'll post up some details for anyone sitting on the fence.

Played about 30 mins, pretty good so far. Island really has a bit of a 'live' feel to it. Love driving around in the rusty old Jap-style cars from the 70's

Got mine yesterday, only played about 10mins before OH came in right when Dennis was telling me allllll about what I needed to do and decided to tell me how good her gym class was. GRR..

Decided not to save it and will re-do that bit tonight!!

I had the audacity to stand in front of the TV when Hollyoaks was on....

The first bit in the Jungle is pretty intense. Kept thinking i was going to die! I was bitten by a snake too..... odd.

Just started this, but it's too soon to tell. Looks better than FC2, which is good, because FC2 was one of the worst ever games.

Here's to hoping that this one doesn't feature:

• making a warranty claim on your gun
• having to periodically blow your nose
• diagnosing an intermittent curtain airbag problem without the proper OBD2 reader
