Any tips on getting the sharks skin for the 4 pouch weapon holster?
Tried shooting, didnt work. Next step is trying that hunting syringe and diving in and mashing one with hands. Is that the way?
Awesome game, seems much better than FC2 and much less monotonous so far. Only a couple of hours in
Sharks can be shot. Very easily in fact. Bear in mind they will sink when killed so try and kill them in shallow water. Tried shooting, didnt work. Next step is trying that hunting syringe and diving in and mashing one with hands. Is that the way?

A boat with a mounted gun is one way of hunting them when you are earlier in the game, as the gun is more powerful and has infinite ammo.

I agree with this somewhat. Since BF3 was released 2 years ago, I've played a few games that have been fairly decent but nothing that's been fantastic. I also thought for a time I was loosing interest in games but I don't think it's that tbh, there just haven't been many outstanding games released.Personally I think I may be loosing interest in single player games as even greats like Mass Effect 3 and Far Cry 3 have struggled to keep my interest for more than a week or two. I may have been playing games for too long though as no matter how decent the AI is, I loose interest as it's not challenging enough after a while or I start to see the flaws in the game. Either that or publishers have forgotten how to make really gripping single player games as most seem to wane in the latter stages.
Also there is nothing like the adrenaline kick of playing against real live opponents IMO, I wish Dice would hurry up and release BF4 already.

In addition to all the good advice given for killing sharks in general, be aware that the shark skin for the 4 weapon holster is a special shark that can only be got on a "Path of the Hunter" quest. The location for this specific quest is at Kell's Boat Repairs on the North Island.

The special shark is for the biggest arrow quiver. There is no special requirement for the 4th weapon slot. The location for this specific quest is at Kell's Boat Repairs on the North Island.
