I loved this game. However, once I finished the main storyline, it seemed to lose its appeal. I am yet to try multiplayer and have more relics etc to collect, but I must admit that it's gone off the radar a bit for me now.
Funny how the game became really cheap over Christmas. Wonder if it is the lack of long term playability?

I ran over a couple of sharks in shallow water with a Rib yesterday. Easy.
I wasn’t very impressed with the first bit of the game, but not Im over in the bit with the CIA type guy, the landscape is much more interesting and it more of a challenge to move about without being seen. Really enjoying it now. I’m a Pillbox nut, so I’m loving all the old Jap emplacements as well.

As for finding crabs/lizards I found a crab randomly on a beach (first island)! I've also got a bird of paradise and a vulture + a seagull. Been trying to shoot down an eagle but not managed it yet! Where did you find the eel?

You unlock a decent Signature Weapon at 20. I didn't bother collecting them after that. Done the main mission, all the Wanted Dead, all the memory cards. Only a few Hunted's though...
Hoping to get the co-op done soon. The supporting phoneapp is pretty useful, Farcry 3 Outpost

The eel was fairly deep in the water, off the SE coast where there's somewhere called Nat's Repairs. You have to get it to attack and then kill it. This doesn't count for anything, just appears in the stats that you can access from the Achievements page. Still not seen a lizard!Trashbat:
