Each to their own, I do enjoy setting bears on fire and hunting monkeys with RPGs but then I know they aren't real.

The people are fine though, presumably? Just not the (other) animals. wink

I bought it on Steam a couple of days ago and have been playing quite a lot. Other than the fact is makes my GTX480 absolutely scream, its been really enjoyable so far and, without wishing to sound like too much of a psychopath, I do get an immense amount of satisfaction from doing quiet takedowns and dragging the body into a hedge.

High point so far: Killing a chicken with a sniper rifle
Low point so far: Being pecked to death by an ostrich

I agree. It is such a waste. Now if we had a make a BBQ option in game we could get some good eating going! smile

Got this for Christmas but only had a chance to play a couple of times. Only at the fledgling stages but I'm really enjoying it. I like all the stealthy type things you can do and that the AI isnt the 'aimbot' type AI you get on games such as BF3.

I'm finding it really immersive; the first scene where we break out of the camp and i am running for my life was pretty intense.

Still loving this game.

Not pushed on with many missions, instead just spent time on taking outposts, and towers, north Island is almost clear now and building my skills and weapons.

One tip I can 100% recommend, is finding 6 letters as soon as you can.

You unlock a free Katanna knife, much much stronger on Melees, and it makes life a fair bit easier.

Unlocked the Shredder, thats a fine weapon to.

doing all the side missions at the mo, some of the animal challenges are tough!

Setting traps to take down heavies in an out post is fantastic fun, C4 on a propane tank as he plods towards you..

Am loving this game but I wish there was an option to turn off the bad language in it.

I'd guess that he doesn't want his kid/s hearing the foul language. (but stabbing people in the chest is fine for their eyes obviously)

Yes you are right don't want kids hearing foul language from the room next door where they can't see the tv.

It is indeed. For my style of play, it is the best weapon in the game. Short, controlled bursts with this at close range are devestating yet silent.

Forgotten from far cry 2 how hard the ai are. Always hunting you and following you quite a distance from the area you were spotted.
Doesn't help that I've been playing metal gear solids recently when all you have to do is leave the room and go back in again!

Plus a crocodile scared the st out of me when I was trying to hunt a tiger by a riverside...

Awesome game though, just taken me a bit of time to get used to it.

Anyone else had any glitches with the radio towers, twice now I've climb to the top of them and the "press x to interact" message refuses to appear.
Last one worked and then the game crashed, reloaded the save, climbed the tower and then it wouldn't work :/

Irritating!
