I will be around this evening with a bit of luck. I did see a 2:37 when testing, but I may have been on soft tyres or some other arrangement.

2:34.6 is my current best with ballast (90kg).

2:33s are possible.

I watched the replay of the second race, it was quite funny with 5 wide into Les Combes!

It was Goodwoods fault for diving up the inside ergo I win biggrin

I remember myself saying "Goodwood, don't make it 4 wide into the corner you nutcase"... I apologise if that made GW see it as a challenge and stuff it up there anyway. Was funny to watch though.

To be honest the overtake was possible when I initially pulled out...it just quickly became impossible when it quickly went 4 or 5 wide into the corner hehe.

I just couldn't stop or get out of the way in time, I do apoligise.

Hehe in fairness didn't the great man Senna say something to the tune of 'if you no longer go for that gap you no longer want to race'.
Damn shame I got disconnected, I'd been enjoying that.

Well how I got a puncture is beyond me... There's no major bumps on my replay I just got squeezed..

And with that ends another top season. Some great combos and really good racing.

Final Table below. Congrats to Norbs and Team 2. Also to Rex who (just) held on to 4th by 2 points.

Team Scores:

Team 2 - 585
Team 1 - 384

As for next season and this ones averages:

1st Norbs - 20.111
2nd GW - 20
3rd Flip - 16.3
4th Dice - 15.3
5th Ian - 11 (Ian's higher than Rex due to only completing 9 rounds to Rex's 10)
6th Rex - 10.4
7th Billy - 9.444
8th Old G - 8.4
9th Evo - 8 (only doing one round last night cost Evo's average, would have been around 10-11 mark otherwise)
10th Drc - 5.43

As we have 10 of us we'll stick to the 2 x teams of 5. So.....

- Team 1 - - Team 2 -
- Norbs - - GW -
- Flip - - Dice -
- Ian - - Rex -
- Billy - - Old G -
- Evo - - Drc -

Team 2 will be BACK in BLACK for next season - I choose gold wheels team!!

Indeed;

By being a racing driver you are under risk all the time. By being a racing driver means you are racing with other people. And if you no longer go for a gap that exists, you are no longer a racing driver because we are competing, we are competing to win. And the main motivation to all of us is to compete for victory, it's not to come 3rd, 4th, 5th or 6th. I race to win as long as I feel it's possible. Sometimes you get it wrong? Sure, it's impossible to get it right all the time. But I race designed to win, as long as I feel I'm doing it right.
That's the way I race, as most of you saw last night hehe...

Thank you once again Dice for running the championship, I thoroughly enjoyed it once more - it was just a shame I missed quite a few.

I'm looking forward to the next season.

Team 1 shall be..? (please don't say white)

Looking forward to getting stuck in. I must confess the start time is a bit late for me, I appreciate that it interferes with Top Gear, and balancing everyone's needs is tricky, but for me at least, an 8pm lights-out would make a world of difference to my ability to participate in every race.

Thanks Dice. I am well chuffed with 4th. After finishing poorly in the first race I knew I had to keep Ian in sight in race 2. I had 1 mistake which cost me some time and thought I had blew it especially when Norbs came past.

Big thanks to Dice for organising once again. Great Championship and next years teams look well balanced.

Awwwwwwwww yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah! Check it out GW, boooooooooooom!

Top work Dice as always. Well played Rex to take 4th in the champ as well.

I don't mind on the colour, we could return to yellow? I know at least some of us have run yellow before. Whatever colour we have, i'm having black wheels as they are the fastest.

PS. Dice, check it out, the Nissans for the V8's have been unveiled, Moffat and Caruso are driving them.
