A quick search of my garage shows that I don't have a beat either, does anyone have a spare I could borrow?

Thanks Billy. Its a oversteery little car.

What sort of times are people doing. Best for me is a low 2:08 on the comfort mediums. Just need to know how much practice I need to be competitive.

Of course GW is lost in a sea of boxes so i'm going to be running the highest ballast in race 1... nice. Do like Monaco, great little place. Anyone got any numbers on fuel usage?

That's nota shabby time, i was running the same the other night. Definitely more time to come though.

Even on very fast the tyres and fuel seems to last rather well. Ballast is going to make a huge difference.

Ok so i'm in the 2:05's with no ballast on my car. Fuel lasts around 25 laps ish so shouldn't be a problem for strategy if you fill up enough in the stop. Will be a 1-stop.

Holy moley. 3 seconds to find. I reckon i had maybe another second with a perfect lap.

How many laps is the race? That way I can work out which lap I can knock off Norbs when he comes round to lap me.

Holey moley indeed, spent ages getting 2:26 s wondering how I was so slow and where I was losing so much time when I twigged I hadn't staged the engine, doh. Can still only manage 2.08 s but that's about par for me I guess.

The trick is not to push, get your braking points sorted and then be very careful on turn-in. The key is getting a getting a good braking point for the chicane after the tunnel, it's truly evil. I haven't been cutting it, i'm guessing that is correct? So much time gained and lost there. Some of the corners are on the very limit of grip when you are running the perfect line, get it slightly wrong and it's chaos.

Monaco is great though, full concentration in these things, god knows how F1 drivers get their cars round IRL.

I was thinking we'd cut the chicane, there's good chance of (me having an) unnecessary accident trying to stick on the right line & not cut & avoid walls. Do people want cut or no?

It is a rather small gap to thread the needle through, turn in too early and your in one wall, get on the power too early and you are in the exit wall. I'm also struggling to find a braking maker, there are no reference points!

I'm not sure if we decided to leave the decision to cut corners up to the chooser, or whether it was a straight 'no' from Dice. I would be happy with cutting it, although the car would get seriously smashed over the kerbs and you may end up having an accident from that!

After about 60 laps I finally may be competitive. Best is a 2:06.4 without cutting. Cannot get any more practice in till just before the race. God knows how you get a 2:05 Norbs but fair play to you.
